Diesel cost

Eagerly waiting for my Rubi Diesel. Snapped this photo. Diesel is generally cheaper than regular gas here (Although I’m sure both expensive relativel speaking). Is this the same in your areas?

usually about .30 more per gallon in central Florida.. somehow I did diesel last week for .05 cheaper then gas.. surprised and filled up quickly, somebody must have screwed up

New Jersey has diesel for about .07 more than regular but I have seen 1 or 2 gas stations with diesel the same as regular... both are right around $3.00. My wife's car takes 93 octane so the gladiator is way cheaper to drive for us.

State tax on diesel is the major difference between here and there. Gasoline and diesel are also taxed differently. Fed tax per gallon on diesel is approx. 24 cents per gallon. There is a "Leaky Tank Clean-Up" tax in there too which is about a penny and that is in the Federal Gasoline tax too.

Per AAA, the national averages show diesel to be about 0.12 cents/gallon more than regular gasoline.

Up until recently, it has been that diesel was about 0.30 cents/gallon more.

That pipeline hack on Colonial Pipeline is screwing with recent prices of fuels at the pump everywhere East of Houston/Chicago. I wouldn’t look too much at price averages that include the last week or so.

My local Costco has diesel at 3.03 and premium at 3.65. big part of my going for ecodiesel and getting rid of my hemi truck

By the same standard, LPG should be less...

Anywhere from 5-10 cents cheaper than regular unleaded gas in Reno. Cheaper in other counties because of less tax. I stand corrected. Just found it for 20 cents less than regular unleaded.
