Today here by the Jersey Shore, $3.44 for regular, $5.55 for diesel. Doesn't seem to make any financial sense why someone would want to run a diesel!

Did you see my first post in this thread? Diesel has not ALWAYS been more expensive than gasoline, and my diesel on 37" tires with stock gears still gets 22-24mpg ... show me a gas JT on 37's on STOCK gears that gets anywhere close to that and I'll show you a BS flagToday here by the Jersey Shore, $3.44 for regular, $5.55 for diesel. Oh and not to mention how much more fun the diesel is to drive
That's typical for what we saw diesel for today - some was a bit over 5, but that's way over the most expensive gas we saw. It was from $2.88 up to about $3.20 or so.At Sam's Club, today, it was $4.15 for regular and $4.96 for diesel.
That's your opinion, and that's fine, but here in NJ, at this point in time, the difference in price per gallon of gasoline and diesel is a financial red flag. Adding in the extra cost of $4500 for the engine & transmission, it just tilts things that much more.Did you see my first post in this thread?
