My stupid dealer won't even look into it.I am at the 24-25 mark around town and close to 28 if I light-foot it on the highway.

You might wanna fight the dealer, my only concern is any long term issues due to something not being right somewhere. I am not sure if anyone has tried this but I went ahead and got myself a OBD2 Scanner and will use it to see if I get any codes with the vehicle running. Will report back if I get any codes.I noticed the chirp, and the engine is much louder at idle than when I took delivery. Then instead of slowly getting better MPGs with break in, it's dropped 5-6 MPG all around. Gonna have to raise some Hell I guess.
Plus I'm about day out from the recall on the fuel system, so I feel like it could Amber Heard the bed any day without warning.![]()
i just called the dealer. They have no parts or fix for this recall on the fuel system yet. if it fails they install new OEM, but not the "fix". That doesn't exists yet. And that's just assuming its what is causing our chirp. You might wanna fight the dealer, my only concern is any long term issues due to something not being right somewhere. Which part of the fuel system is having a recall at the moment? I have no opened recalls on my Jeep app and mine was built on July 2022. Of course I know there is a huge recall for the HPFP(high pressure fuel pump) but i have seen some people running on the original one for thousands of miles. yes talking about the HPFP and maybe just me wondering if that’s it. But dealer and logic says if that HPFP goes you lose performance and MPGs. I am fine on both of those…just the chirping.Which part of the fuel system is having a recall at the moment? I have no opened recalls on my Jeep app and mine was built on July 2022. So I'm hearing that my HPFP is suspect... Which is exactly what I told them, but they blew it off. They're trying to pin it on winter fuel. Winter fuel does effect mileage, but not this much.yes talking about the HPFP and maybe just me wondering if that’s it. But dealer and logic says if that HPFP goes you lose performance and MPGs. When the CP4 fuel pump fails. The Jeep dies right then and there. On the way to failure. It will send particles of metal through out the fuel system.yes talking about the HPFP and maybe just me wondering if that’s it. dealer says when they fail all they can do to w replace w oem part since improved fix Isn’t available. When the CP4 fuel pump fails. The Jeep dies right then and there. On the way to failure. It will send particles of metal through out the fuel system.
I was at the dealer to today scheduling my last Jeep Wave oil change. I'm still not included in the recall. And the parts are still not available. Plus no date of when. Don't know what the replacement pump will be. They have one diesel wafting for parts now because of a failed CP4.dealer says when they fail all they can do to w replace w oem part since improved fix Isn’t available.
If you ain't over 1,000 HP now a days. You ain't shit. This makes me go back to memories of my 1989 Chrysler LeBaron GTC Turbo. 2.2 liter T2 turbo with a factory 5 speed. Fully built running 25psi on race gas laying down 400hp to the front slicks.
I'm at 700 on E85.Unless you are deleted- you won’t hear anything through the exhaust.I haven’t heard it through the exhaust. When she pulls in the drive I can hear it from the engine bay but not the exhaust. When driving only hear it from front. It’s annoying that’s for sure. I just need to take the time to check the charge pipes for leaks.
