Was coming back from having my camera recalibrated after my windshield change, and noticed the plastic window of my gauge cluster looks dirty.

Anyone else have this issue? Only noticeable when the light(sunlight for me) hit it directly.

A little windex and a paper towel will clear that right up

It appears to be inside the lens. I blew away any dust off the lens and gave it a wipe down with the sleeve of my drifit shirt. I then realized that it looks to be on the backside of the plastic when looking at it from an angle.

It's not a sealed cluster, no gasket between the gauges and that front windows panel. I removed and cleaned mine when i added the bed outlet switch.

Well then to be Captain Obvious, probably dust from the windshield replacement. Pretty sure the lens is a removeable and replaceable item it you cannot get it clean.

Since you got a 2024+, it is a little more complicated to get to the cluster to get it out but there is a few YouTube videos on getting the dash trim off to get access.

My wife’s 2024 wrangler Sahara has the exact same issue I told the dealer about it but they would need to replace it and program miles supposedly so I backed out of doing it

That’s the thing, it’s not dust. It looks like the plastic has a haze on it. I figured I always had it, but never really noticed until the sun was at the right angle.

I guess you can warranty it but like anything, they may damage more things getting into for the fix.

Had 4 JT's and a JL and never seen anything like this. Would not say it is normal.

You don’t need to replace that. If it’s stuff that won’t come off with just a regular spray and wash use a headlight ceramic restoration kit on it. That will give it a good coating that, since inside, should last you years.

It's on the interior side of the plastic. Unless you mean take it apart and clean it, then yes possibly.

If I did that I would spend the 60 bucks and get a brand new lens 4sure!
