You're a "wireless network engineer", your "wireless network" is currently breaking it off in your ass.

I can see where this would bee a real problem for you.
I guess I could go get my spectrum analyzer and dive into it, but I was hoping I could do the shit in the video and it would work, like my other vehicles have. There is nothing broke of in my ass, my wife had me tested.

Good post! Glad you could join the Gladiator forum list of whiney complainers thread starters.
Sorry to ruffle your jeep loving feathers. Do you have a Harley as well?

I have a pretty old garage door opener and I had to follow the instructions in the user guide for Canada (?). Anyhow that worked for me.

Mine works perfectly as well. Now the one in my Audi A4 is a POS.

Mine is rolling code. It's about 15 yrs old but I thought it would work since the previous ones did. Maybe it's time for a new one. I'm gonna stop by a friends house and try to program it. He just bought his place and it's a brand new opener.

LOL, I hope you get it fixed without having to call Gomers Garage Door Company to help you out

I suspect there is a learning sequence for the receiver, but I don't know.

There is however some irony in your profession and your problem though, maybe lighten up a little bit and laugh.

I wasn't really wanting it to turn out any particular way. Just frustrated. I followed the video and tried doing it while running. I guess I just was hoping someone tried something else that worked. Maybe the shit is broke I guess.
if thats a concern you could always take it to the dealer a claim it under your warranty. Theyd probably ask for a video of it not working and eventually replace it.

This fu***ng piece of shit will not program no matter what. I have tried several times. So pissed a 50,000 vehicle can’t act right. My Tundra, Tacoma, etc programmed first try. I’ve tried it in the run position, cleared them then tried it running. The video says press the button for two seconds twice and a third time may be needed. The blinks on the first press, does nothing the second time and blinks on the third. Think I have a bad sun visor to go with creaky doors?
Maybe you didn't RTFM completely or follow the instructions. Perhaps this video will help...

I had a similar issue on my '18 JKUR with an older opener (18years old Chamberlain w/rolling code). Programmed with the newer opener in one of my bays without issue. Couldn't get the older one to take so I ended up just using the original remote for over a year. I settled on it not being compatible. When I got the Gladiator it just worked on both openers without issue. Using the same instructions and this time it took on the JKUR. Must have missed a step originally. I'd say have friend RTFM and try it again while you watch. :)

I RTFMd and followed the instructions. I watched the video yesterday and tried again. I even RTFPOSM again and I may have a bad one or something.

Mine worked flawlessly.

- Hold both outside buttons for 20 seconds to erase all codes and reset the system
- With the wireless opener that came with your garage door 3 inches from the Homelink buttons, press and hold the button on Homelink you want to program WHILE holding the button on the wireless door opener. This syncs the two.
- Go press the "learn" button on your garage door opener (only have 30 seconds to do this).
- Return to truck and press button on Homelink you just programmed. Garage door will cycle to confirm.

I've done it twice on two 2020 trucks with Homelink, both worked flawlessly.

I watched the video OP, and read the manual. The instructions for a power head with a learn button did not work. My power heads must have skipped school on the day they were teaching the learning. I then tried my garage door opener to program the home link and it worked.

Just hold the opener next to the visor. Press both buttons at the same time. When the light on the home link flashes fast, release and press the button again

Mine is rolling code for sure. My 3 previous cars, I had to use the learn button. It is old though, so maybe it just doesn't work with this or it's broke. I need to try it with a newer opener and see if it syncs. Haven't had time yet though. Thank you for the reply. Appreciate it.

Yep, better call the IT guy.

What brand and model garage door opener do you have? Some are a real bitch to get to work. Ideally, a friend let’s you try it on his garage door to verify where the problem lies.

It's a Chamberlain. I'm gonna try it tomorrow at a friends brand new house and see if it works.
