Mostly a question really. Has anyone had any issues brining in the correct TPMS to their Discount Tire to have them installed? I bought a set of used AEV Borah wheels with BFG KO2s and had Discount install them. They ordered a set of sensors, which happened to be the incorrect ones when I showed up. They ordered the "correct" ones and installed. TPMS still doesn't work. After research, I have a post June 2021 build and need the AB sensors. Discount installed a "33560D" sensor, which looks like it is the pre June sensor. I have read others have issues with Discount installing a sensor they bring in. Could also take it back and relate to them the issue and see if they would order the correct ones for me. Looks like Quadratec currently has them on backorder (mopar version).

@AllMoparParts.com .. Benny helped me source alot I could not find on the internet .. I had the same scenario MOPAR had them in stock vs all the internet stores and picked them up locally shipped to the dealer, saved the shipping cost ...

Some places will not install parts the customer brings in, sometimes it even varies between locations of the same chain. I'd ask that particular store what their policy is.

I took a set into my local Discount Tire, and they installed 'em, no problem.

I had no issues with Discount installing the correct ones on mine, plus they were about as cheap as I could buy them for so I didn't see the need to try to source them for cheaper. If they installed them and you bought them from them then they should make it right and I'm sure they will. I've had a great experience with Discount so far.

I've got a 2022 Sport S on order and plan on swapping out the wheels and tires. Can you not just reuse the TPMS sensors that are in the factory wheels?

I have had nothing but fantastic service from my local Discount Tire. Ordered my wheels and tires from them. Perfectly installed, no issues with TPMS that I purchased from them and great follow up with rotates and balance.

@21WhiteRubi,

You are correct, JT's built after 6/7/2021 require a new sensor, PM headed your way.
Just scheduled my new shoes install at my local Discount Tire. Good idea to contact them ahead of time and make sure they have the correct TPMS?

You can. There's a small charge to swap them over. It's easier to sell your old wheels with the TPMS in them though.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Yes, my intention was to sell my old wheels and tires with the TPMS installed. It is easier to sell them with TPMS. Most don't ask about the build date etc., so I do check with potential buyers to make sure they will work. I despise people that sell second hand jeep parts that don't fully disclose things to the potential buyer. Just not a good way to do business. The buyer for my OEM wheels and tires has a post June 21 build as well, so my sensors should work with his gladiator.

I went by the store yesterday and explained things. It is a very busy Discount Tire as I am in the Atlanta area. He said they would reach out to the local dealership and see if they can obtain the correct sensors. But if they cannot, they can refund me the cost of the sensors in there, but there will be a charge involved in swapping in my sensors from my OEM wheels and tires as there is dismounting and remounting of both sets along with another balancing of my current wheels and tires (which should be free since they were bought at Discount).

Will let you know what they find out from the dealer. I may do my own digging in the meantime and see if I can find a set.

Finally got the correct TPMS sensors installed today. Seem to be working fine. But they did have to come directly from the local Jeep dealer.

Can you let me know the correct sensor ? I have a post 6/5/2021 gladiator that I just had a TPMS sensor installed in my spare and mounted (from Discount Tire). The sensor is not working. So I am assuming they installed the wrong one.
