DIY Bed Rail Attachments

So I’m considering getting some unistrut and making my own bed rails. My question is how is everyone attaching things to them.
I’m most likely to attach…
1. Axe
2. Traction mats
3. General hooks for ratchet strap down points

Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I did exactly what you're describing, and these fit perfectly:

These also work nice, but I put a flat washer behind them just so they don't muck up my powder coating:

These are a nice finishing touch, and a good way to stop from gashing your hand on the corner of the unistrut:

2"Inch (50mm) Square Plastic Hole Plugs Insert (20 Pack), Heavy Duty Black Hardware Plugs and Unistrut End Caps for Square Tubing, Glide Insert for Pipe Post, Chairs and Furniture by Prescott Plastics - - Amazon.com

Here's a pic of my finished product. I'm not sure if it's as good as the Mopar product, but it holds groceries and bowling balls in place, which is all I need.

Yeah, sorry Forgot I did the full write up, and edited to post it.

Loving it, would not advise just painting the uni-strut, mine is chipping. I may try to get my rails sprayed with bed liner material and re-install. But the struts and the tie downs I love. Able to move them around with ease.

Even the cross bars I can add to the truck as needed and tighten with the hand screws.
