Do I need a adjustable track bar when doing a 2.5” lift?

Just curious how much the front 2.5” spacer lift affects alignment? It feels perfectly normal but a friend said I might want a adjustable track bar to really center things up perfect.

You don't need one unless your wheels are sticking out unevenly one side or the other after the lift. I have one because I was outside the front fender 1.5" on the left side and .5" on the right side. The adjustable track bar corrected that issue and now they're centered. That being said, it didn't do anything to correct alignment. My Gladiator still pulls to the right. (I haven't taken it yet to get aligned at a shop FWIW).

Cool, thanks for your reply. Mine doesn’t look off centered, but I’ll actually pull a tape and measure right and left side of the fender flares to see. I did re-center the steering wheel and it seems to drive perfectly normal without an alignment, but it’s probably a good idea to have it aligned

I put a 2.5" ReadyLift on mine and I did not put a adjustable track bar on mine but it's definitely not centered. I'll end up doing it but the shop that did mine lined it up so it doesn't pull at all. If you go over 2" it will normally throw the front axle off. If I do go with one I'll just grab a rough country one, did great on my JKU. I prefer one that can be adjusted on the jeep rather than dealing with wing nuts.

I would recommend it. It's not "necessary", but I would recommend it. I'm going to be ordering an adjustable track bar for mine, soon, just so I know the front axle is 100% centered under the truck.
