Factory tires and wheels, no lift, on my sport s max tow. Will Mud flaps (don't like the look) protect my driver's door handle from road grit/mud? I'm tired of wiping my left hand on my freshly washed levis most every time i enter my Jt.
I've got them on my JT and JL and had them on my JK. They don't do much for the sides and rear door hinges, but they do help with the frame area below the rocker, IMO. I had a JK with them and had the front flaps for 1/2 the time I owned it (17 years). I treated minor rust on the frame and underbody every fall and there was a little less to treat in the 2 or 3 feet aft of the flaps than there typically was before having them.

I'm referring to fronts only on all 3 Jeeps. I can't speak for rears, but I'd imagine they would block some rocks and help vehicles behind you.

I have never taken the flaps off for off-roading, including 5 outings to Moab between the JL and JT and countless other trails. The Mopars on the JK bent and flexed over rocks and things and held up amazingly well. The RockBlokz haven't really rubbed on anything, as far as I can tell. If they did, they just slid over it. No scrapes or anything.

Just my 2c.
