RokBlokz size “original” front and rear. With rock sliders and full top plates, I have eliminated damn near all of anything hitting the Jeep. 99.9%, if I have to put a number to it. Expensive yes, but absolutely worth it and look the best IMO.

Don’t mind me asking: what ‘top plate’/step bar is that?

I got the mud flaps mounted this morning. These were the inexpensive ones from Amazon, oddly they say "Weathertech" in the description but I don't think they are (but they're similar). If I'd waited until today I'd have saved $12, there's a 20% black Friday sale.

They're flexible plastic, not rubber. I have no illusion that they'll hold up to serious rockcrawling abuse, but that's not on my agenda right now. Installation required drilling holes in the plastic fender liner. I did not have to remove the wheels as some have said, but that might have been necessary if I didn't have a right angle drill. About a half hour for all four.

Those are the same ones I had on my first JT. They did the job, but certainly weren't no RBs.

The only thing I didn't really care for was how the rear lacked support, as the wheel well liner is some seriously flimsy plastic, so the only real support is along the outside fender molding.

I've considered buying the semi style flaps and engineering some mounting brackets for the rear, sort of like the RB are. But at this point, with the time involved, I'm sort of leaning towards just biting the bullet and getting the RB anyway.

I'm of the opinion that the Rok Blokz are a bit over priced for what they are but I've still bought two sets because they work so well.

Getting ready to bite the bullet and order the rockblokz but I’m having a hard time deciding on the size…I’ve got a 2023 rubicon with a 1” teraflex leveling kit and 35” tires with -12 offset wheels. I’m thinking the XL regular length since I’m not running a lift but do have a wider stance. Thoughts?

I initially bought the original front and rears and they worked stock but just barely with the 285/70 17s. When I lifted and went to narrow 35s I ordered the XL long fronts and I don't feel they are too big. At some point I'll bump the rears up too but haven't yet. They are easy enough to remove if needed

I went with XL width, regular length for mine. I do have the Mopar 2” lift and 35x12.5’s, not sure what my wheel offset is, but looks to be more poke than yours.
Hopefully I get mine installed some time this week. Also have the Recon flare extensions to mount.

I had Mopar front splash guards on my JKUR and Rock Blokz on my JLUR and the JK has seen Moab twice and JL has seen it 3 times. Both have been on countless other very difficult trails many times. None of the splash guards even has a scuff on them, which is utterly shocking to me. I think the worst they´ve done is simply slide over the rocks. Even thought it would be easy, I don´t even bother to remove the Rock Blokz. The thought doesn´t even cross my mind anymore.

Both Rock Blokz sets are standard size. The Mopars on the JK were much bigger. Still no issues.

I’m not sure if this helps anyone but it was tough for me to find some real measurements and pictures in the right angle to properly see the size of these on a mojave.

I put the XL on my stock Mojave.

I took a 1x2 board and laid it flat across the tire and then extended it to the flap. The 1” side lined up perfect with the edge of the flap so that equals exactly 3/4 of an inch.

So the flap extends 3/4 of an inch outside the tire.

If you are looking to change wheels at any time, you’re going to have less offset than the stocks wheels and more poke so it would make more sense to get at least the XL.

I can’t speak for length but just wanted to share in hopes it would help someone out in the future.

No offense to those that have the Rok Blokz mud flaps but in my opinion the Weathertech and Amazon look alike Weathertech flaps look much better on the Gladiator.

I bought the rally armor set for less than $30. Knocked out existing plastic rivets in the front and back, added an extra set in the back. The hardware is all 1/4-20, which fit perfect where the rivets were, and you could use M6 if you prefer to keep with metric.

Main goal was to keep most of the mud off the handles and stop the chipping of the hinges. Seems to work well, took a day trip up to Flag Pole with a friend and did some trail cleanup. Trail was wet and snowy, so I really could see a big difference.
