I was looking at my Taillights and they look led to me. I thought I read somewhere in here that someone went it replace their taillight bulbs with led bulbs and they were already led. I could be wrong but the light output doesn't look halogen to me.

The side indicators on the taillights are LED like the Overland and Rubicon, the backup, turn and Brakelights are not LED. There is a kit for 69 bucks that has the fan, resistor and led turn bulbs- I cant seem to find it. But the other bulbs are 10 bucks a piece from Oracle lIghting (sponsor here). I found the resistor ones in another thread- I'll Repost if I find em.

Do I need those for turns or can I get some of the other ones. I have a JScan and can reset for the LEDs. On one of the threads they are using much cheaper ones.
If it were me, I'd get the cheaper ones listed on that LED bulbs thread.

I've been looking for the Blinker bulbs without having to install a load balancer/ Resistor inline or as a separate unit. All the ones i've seen on here will work for everything except the blinkers. Did you find cheaper ones that are one unit?

If you have a JScan you can set the system to recognize you have LEDs and you don't need the resistors so then you can just pick up any cheap ones off amazon. That's what I did for my front ones.

I'll have to check and see if thats a setting I can change with my Hypertek programmer. I just plugged in the front ones and no turn signal issues.

I've also been told but can't confirm that the Max Tow already has the system set for LEDs, but like I said can't confirm it. I guess if I can get the bulb thing figured out I could give it a try and see. Trying to figure out what the difference is between 3157 and 7443 bulbs.

If you do this with the rears, I think you need to do the fronts as well... I have rears done (it's one bulb for brake/tail/turn) and I get turn signal out error every time I start the truck even with the Tazer set to LED. Not doing the fronts until I do my aux switches this weekend... no reason to pull the inner fender twice.
