When’s this buyback happening again?
It's not. That was all just a scam to get sensationalized YouTube views. Especially since his steering issue that he was supposedly suing Chrysler over was user error and ignorance.

I've been on many forums and haven't really seen a moderator behave that way unless someone was poking at them. Kind of seems like this person might be better off on another Jeep forum that likes to treat their members like crap.

So a little bit of a back story. We did adjust our lights, but we went on a over-landing trip and loaded the back up with all of the extra weight, the back sagged a little bit and made the darn lights blind people :/ We didnt know this at the time, went on our trip and didn't bring a super light Philip screwdriver with us. So it was too late to fix...

So for those of you that want to know how to adjust, here's how.

Avoid sag with air bags in the coils. They can compensate for 1000 pounds. I did it. Works great

Did that on my last Ram for towing our camper; we could adjust air pressure for whatever was in the bed/on the tongue and like you said it worked great!

We know what he is talking about . We are dealing with something that Jeep has asked us not to talk about till its been resolved... we don't need to talk about it anymore till its been taken care of...

they are just upset because we are no longer talking about it. They should be a little bit more classy and message us direct..

I agree with this - please re-aim your headlights after a lift! Even if you don't have a lift - if people are flashing their lights at you then get the lights aimed.

It is this kind of thing that makes me miss everyone having to get annual safety inspections. I get that there were problems with that, but...

PS: Especially if you do a "leveling kit" - that is probably even worse for headlight alignment!

(Ok, rant done now)

Yes! I am so tired of seeing Internet posts of people who get flashed on lo beam saying "then I just blast em with my hi beam to show them". Good on you OP to show some respect to fellow drivers.

If someone get flashed every time they drive at night they probably need adjustment. To then further flash their hi's like some macho thing is an idiot move. There are way too many mis-adjusted, too-bright LED headlights on the road these days, and not talking just jeeps. It adds to eye stress of night driving.
I got mine adjusted right and rarely get flashed. Maybe once or twice a month. I never hit them with my high beams unless they keep their highs on. If that happens then they will get my highs in all their glory. Thinking someone is bright lighting you by flashing your lights is one thing, but hitting them with highs and keeping them on is a dick move in the other driver and I'm inclined to be a dick back, especially if they keep them on after I flash mine up on high and back down to lows.

I totally don't believe in not adjusting your lights. I always adjust mine by the center of your headlight, 25ft method. Measure to the center of your headlight, back up 25ft from a solid surface. Measure up on the solid surface to whatever your measurements are to the center of your headlights and place a piece of tape on the wall or surface. Then I adjust my lights down or up until the top of the cutoff is level with the tape. Normally that's pretty bang on when it comes to adjusting from my experience.

Not sure what it is about people around here, we get flashed in our 17 mustang 5.0 with stock LEDs, 17 BMW 440I with stock leds and the JT. At least a few times a month. Not very often but it happens. All of them are adjusted right and definitely aren't blinding, but we got those people around here I guess. Happened in both our 328is with stock Hids as well. Like I said though, not often but maybe twice a month or it could be less than that.

I get flashed in my Mojave with Halogens. So I walked out front of my vehicle to check if it is blinding. I am not sure what people are thinking, since I have to kneel on the ground 20 feet out to get the blinding light. It makes zero sense.

people with non-LED cars seem not to know the difference, I have flashed people by mistake too, one was a COP :)
