My family had an old Dodge van this same color when I was a kid. Great memories!! I would cuddle up between the front captains chairs by the engine cover and fall asleep within seconds. I loved that van! Thank you for this trip down memory lane. It wasn't a power wagon but that van was special. LoL

Yes the R&D would be expensive on all of these. But for a niche market it could be profitable.
Considering that if you wanted a restomod of one these Powerwagons there is a company that is rebuilding and selling them for $170,000 a piece this could be a very cost effective solution.
Just from the few variations I have shown here there is so much that can be done with this truck. There is no other pickup that can be modified to this extent with just bolt on parts. I just hope the pricing on these trucks is reasonable.

i like the chain in front. Going to have to do that. Never know when a prius is in my favorite parking spot at the mall.

NOW THAT IS A POWER "WAGON" -- the upcoming so called power wagons are Trucks with BEDS, not WAGONS i.e. as in "station wagons" I recall from, oh say, the '60's or '70's !

Now THAT is looking more & more like that Jeep "Africa" Concept from couple years ago - which I'd go for over any truck, or JL ! So utilitarian .

OK, GOT IT TO DOWNLOAD ! ANY TAKERS ? Could someone with the "smarts" to download some VIDEOs . . . here is the website for a GREAT NEW PRODUCT - fully manufactured sourcing USA materials in Montana (yea, close to me !) . gofastcampers.com . comes in 2 forms, RTT & Truck Bed Camper ! So JL or JT lovers gonna dig this for Overlanding or weekend / holiday camping trips or . . . ? The Facebook & instagram icons are at bottom of page . The company has some VIDEO's that would be nice to see here as well ! I noticed a GLADIATOR MockUp which was way cool too ! If I go JT, THIS could do the trick . . . If I go JLU, then the Ursa Minor works, for me ! Neat thing about the Go Fast Camper is it "works" much like the Ursa Minor ! Please, someone should download the video(s) and the photo of at least the Gladiator rendition !
Also for the Taco fans - they already have versions for it !

This is very cool, and simple... I personally want a larger tent... but I like the structure. How it opens on each side to expose the bed of the truck.

ps; edit -- the company via emails have told me they are DEFINITELY WORKING ON THE JT VERSION AND WILL BE MAKING available - Next email I hope to get a better idea as to when, but the one for the TACO, for the taco fans, is in production NOW and available to order !
