I have a solid 5” of lift on my rig and did put on iirc 1” carrier spacers. Have been off road a lot including Moab, sand dunes, firetrails, hill climbs and local off road park. Knock on wood no issues. Had to go eyeball my shafts and look good too. Would total shock extension make the difference ? My Falcons are designed to not have the longest extension in comparison to other off road brands. If they allow I assume driveline angles can get gnarly?
