Is your current turn/DRL unit single or split when you look from the front? The units with a single bulb in the white section can't be converted with the OEM parts but if it's split they can.

Yeah split was probably a confusing word in this case but yours is what I was referring to. The base unit is a single bulb whereas yours and most others are split in half internally with two bulbs. You should be good to go swapping in the LED housing but it's a bit of a pain the ass. All you need is the complete housing and the wiring pigtail. Tools are just a few sockets, nut drivers, and something to pry the factory unit loose from the fender because it's taped on with VHB or something.

Tips from when I did it, buy some of the white fender clips before starting. They're cheap and the easiest way to remove the fender is to simply remove the entire thing from the truck whole. Then you can bend back the liner as needed to get to the signal housing. Thing is the fender clips are prone to break so keeping half a dozen on hand is cheap insurance.

You can do the swap with the fenders in place.

Also, since you’re installing a MOPAR unit you will need to get your JT programmed to run those LEDs. So either get a programmer (I suggest a TAZER Mini) or have the dealership do it.

Can, yes, but it's much more difficult with how the liners are attached to the fenders. Notice the didn't show you how to reattach them in that video... you need a special tool and expensive ass plastic rivets that are a complete pain to install. If you pull the fender, you can access it from the inside and it's easier.

I say this as someone who did one fender each way. Removing the entire assembly took a third of the time.

I didn't need to drill out the plastic rivets so I didn't need to buy replacement rivets and a rivet tool when I did mine.
