Ok this might a bit odd, but due to the fact my other hobby is woodworking I have my shop in the garage and no matter how good I setup dust control, it still gets into the air and around. So if I were to swap to a black vehicle, well it would be obvious how dusty it is.

Any methods to mitigate and or keep it from getting too much dust on or remove it simply and safely? Did some searches and not been impressed with the options.

Don't park in the garage.

Install a better dust collection system.

Don't buy dark colored trucks.

To keep from damaging the paint, the dust has to be removed without brushing it against the paint. That will probably mean using a air hose in the driveway, and frequent trips to the touchless car wash.

At first I thought this thread was going to talk about dust control in the bed of the JT! Which is also a problem...

But, I totally get your concern. For me, my shop is in the basement, so putting everything outside isn't an option, especially in winter when the furnace circulates everything throughout the house! I go through probably a filter on the wood and propane furnace each month!

Anyway, that garage curtain is an awesome idea! My basement is divided into 5 'sections'. But all of them open to one another. One section will be closed off via French cleats. The other some type of plastic - probably just a shower curtain to keep it cheaper than those garage curtains.

But you still need a dust collection option better than a shop vac. Here is one, that still uses a shop vac but has better storage.

If you really do a lot of woodworking, you might want to consider an actual dust collection system specific to this task. Here is one of the smaller options available.

And if you do a lot of ripping and grinding and create a lot of air dust, you probably want one of these as well.

I have one and in prep for my gladiator which is 3 feet longer than my unlimited I am in the process of re-orging and installing ducting so I can use it on everything.

If the punk'n deal does not work the curtain will be my next project. Think I will eventually do it either way just will be broke if I buy the punk'n.

Did a quote look up and was only $460 before tax, might need a bit more due to the HVAC duct in the way but darn that is not much, less than the ducting I bought.

I can honestly say it is one of the best things I've ever bought for my garage. I got creative with 'sealing' at the top and it keeps my old Camaro essentially dust-free. It works so well that I actually run a dehimidifier in the closed-off section during the summer. It also protects from splashes since I usually wash my vehicles in the garage.
