Haha, i got mine in 2021 and got the Hank Hill special, not a dollar over sticker. At least I got a decent sub-3% rate.

The only silver lining was mine just came off of the truck from the factory an hour before I got there, so it had zero "test drive" miles on it. It still had all of factory wrapping on it when I test drove it.
Yeah...at least we got good rates!

Maybe they can figure out how to install a rear window that doesn't leak during the pause.
Man tell me about it. I had mine replaced under warranty and now 2 years later I realize its still leaking and its outside warranty...(I barely drive it and when I do it hasn't seen rain)

Yeah...at least we got good rates!
And today, those rates are literally worth three figures a month in payments and total cost over time. I was lucky on my 22 2500 Hemi. I got about the last of the sub 4% loans a 3.25% in March 2022.

I managed a real 1K below MSRP which was good at the time and it was on a "lot special" that was 1K less MSRP per sticker than 9 other identical ones except color the dealer had gotten in. He said he had no idea why. AND trade ins were high so, I did OK even if I paid close to sticker. I also wasn't able to get power mirrors as those chips were unavailable.

Recent (as late as Jan) there were real 30% deals out there on the slightly reduced 24 pricing over 23's, but you were still paying high 7's percentages to 9% depending upon credit. So they sort of cancel each other out from a pure deal standpoint.

I got my 23 on Dec 27th 23 with a "real" 30% off. I also did OK on my trade but 7.9 on the loan... These days, not bad. My best ever was the 2018 daily driver Renegade in May 2019 30K MSRP, marked down to 20K and low rates. I really have no complaints at all about that car... I liked it. But I like my Gladiator much better and it goes to the Transfer station without stinking up the inside...
