What started leaking on it?
I personally don't get the concept because the oil in the oil cooler is what falls back down after about 30min. Soooo oil still has to come up and reach the same spot the Baxter is screwed into BEFORE reaching the filter on the Baxter assembly. Not to mention it screws into the same spot that the filter cap screws into with the same plastic unchanged ( unless ypu put an all aluminum oil cooler in) if not I see zero advantage to it. Can someone convince me to the contrary ? Remains to be seen.

The basically all of the seals. After 3 attempts I got rid of it. I was tired of it leaking and smelling like an old Ford

Looking at the design of the OEM oil cooler/filter assembly, I see no anti-drainback valve. The filter area has a drain port that opens when you loosen the oil filter cap and that idea gets confused as being an anti-drainback valve when it is not (unless someone proves me wrong). The passages from pump to filter to cooler are wide open. The drain port's function is to allow any residual oil in the filter to be drained when changing the filter.

The internet would disagree, but I also acknowledge that the loudest wheel gets the grease, so the quiet people are the ones not having issues. Also that many of the people who complains are complainers and likely didn't do basic vehicle maintenance. This is more about "I'm going to do my absolute best to get the most life out of this vehicle and find the data on the way," mainly because I like data.
I'd say the internet disagrees with these engines being problematic overall. The 3.6 is one of the most reliable engines on the market, but it's also one of the most produced so it's easy to find examples of failures that are actually an extremely small number in comparison to the ones on the road.

The device has one o-ring that would leak externally if it leaked and two fittings (a plug on one side and the schrader valve on the other). All those leaked?

Dude, I will assure you I'm not incompetent nor hateful.......but this fuckin device took me to a fuckin nother level. (Not implying, you implied) I just hated everything about it. Once I removed it, I was golden like a shower; zero issues.

I'm just trying to find out what went wrong with it, yours and also Calipoontappa's. Nothing more. There's not that much to it so it surprises me it has problems, other than the theoretical problem of more weight from itself and the spin-on filter putting stress on the cooler. I am genuinely curious what failed. You mentioned leaking at "all of the seals" (plural) so I listed three sealing points I know of (not counting the filter sealing ring). Calipoontappa made a blanket statement that it is "fucking garbage" without saying what went wrong with any of the three he said he had.

I am curious also. I know the unit Minty JL had, he bought from another member here used that also reported issues with it leaking. I actually just recently offered to buy from Minty JL the problem unit he had but it has hit the trash can it seems.

My skin in the game is I had one of these Baxter Performance adapters on my 2022 Rubicon for 15K miles and did three oil changes with it before I traded it off with it installed. I had zero issues with leakage of any kind and would have removed and kept it had I remembered to do so. I am currently weighing getting another one for my 2025 Sport.

Wait til the Baxter assembly starts leaking like an SOB........ask me how I know
I now see what you mean. I recently had some oil pooling in the valley under the filter. I thought I might have spilled some during the last oil change so I mopped it up and went on my way but it was there again soon after. I couldn't see where it was coming from but I thought about this thread and took the Baxter unit off. No oil in the valley since then.

I'll have to crawl underneath and see if the slight oil leak I've noticed down there is gone, too. It was one of those "where the heck is this coming from" kinds of leaks.
