Bought my gladiator brand new 2022 and I’ve been hearing a noise coming from engine at about 5-8k miles. It’s been to the dealer 3 times for it. First time they blamed the noise on a loose bolt from my bed rack as if I wouldn’t know the difference from that to a noise from the engine. Second time, I came in with audio evidence and it was confirmed by the service tech after he went on a ride. He asked what octane fuel I used, I told him regular, he advised to use a higher octane. After using higher octane and paying more at the pump noise is still there. Now in at dealer for a third time for the noise and as per them they can’t duplicate the noise and the vehicle has no codes. Im super frustrated as I’d like to put a lift and bigger tires but am afraid they’ll blame that on the noise. I really considering trading it.
