Ever been towed?

Saw a recent post and was wondering how many of us have needed to be towed and why. My Gladiator is the second of many vehicles I’ve owned that needed to be towed.

Transporting or shipping a vehicle does not count.

I don't get towed, I usually DO the towing. Pulled 3 vehicles since winter, trailered another and a motorcycle at the same time. And pushed a girl's car from an intersection about a week ago (she keeps running the engine out of oil until the light comes on).

I need a bumper and winch, been a few times I COULDN'T help people due to modern vehicles not having proper tow points anymore (mostly hybrids). A winch would get so many vehicles unstuck.

So far i see 12 No and 4 needed to be towed now i am curious what was the reasons for the tow.

There’s a bunch of threads relating to the HPFP in the 3.0eco diesel. I would summarize it as Bosch designed the fuel pump to a world standard grade diesel. The US decided to blend a cleaner diesel fuel that the HPFP.
But that’s for a different discussion ….

Hasn’t happened to me in the gladiator, but I know that sinking feeling. Like forgetting to tighten down all the lug nuts before going on a test ride Without your lug wrench.

These are the idiots raising our insurance rates and giving Jeep owners a bad name.
