a v8 could tolerate an exhaust with an automatic as they sound good and hold gears better so it wouldn't be near as annoying
The most annoying sounding exhaust is an aftermarket loud exhaust on a Hemi. Once you're on the highway and the MDS shuts off 4 cylinders it sounds like a constant miss.

I once put headers and dual exhaust in my online 6 CJ5.... great torque, but it sounded like an old John Deere tractor. So not cool

from Borla has some good sound clips.
Anyone go with the Borla Touring option? The Atak is a bit loud for my tastes, and I don't like the excessive fart sound under WOT, so contemplating the 2 more "civil" options of S-Type and Touring

I’m am trying to decide which cat-back to go with. The Borla is in first place as of today. The touring is to close to stock and the ATAK is a little too much so the “S” Series is best.
Also the Flowmaster and MBRP are in consideration. My biggest concern is drone. I don’t want it. Any and all advise will help.
thanks

I looked at an install video for the MBRP and was impressed with the design and simplicity of their system. I like the one that tucks up high under the body and only has a single muffler element.

I had the S type on my 2015 GMC Sierra and really liked it, but wondered what the Atak would have sounded like. So, for the Gladiator I went with the Atak and love it. I think Borla makes a quality product.
I went S Type - was worried ATAK would be too loud. Love it.

Love my S Type. See post 40 and 41 for install and sound. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!

Corsa touring exhaust. No drone. 8db louder than stock but sounds terrific.

Looking for exhaust upgrade....leaning towards Borla s type.. attack too much
thoughts and recommendations
Hello, I have the MBRP single on my JT. I also had one on my F150. Having the MBRP on the JT was at first questionable with sound and noise. They were all just my fears, but not the MBRP has been on the JT it has a nice smooth sound when driving normal. When I get into the throttle I not only get a nice growl and serious buttDyno power...
Hopefully, this helps you. I can tell you there is no drone, not too loud even when I put the peddle to the medal.

I am leaning toward the Attak but am really concerned about drone. How's it been for you?
