Experience with Tri City- Travis

Hello all,

Just wanted to post quickly about my experience with Tri City- Travis. After a very long day yesterday, my new Gladiator found it's way to my driveway @ 3:30 a.m. Ordered from Tri City on May 1st, truck came in around June 21st. Travis was great through the process, keeping me in the loop the entire time. Took a flight from DTW to Greensboro via Chicago, got to GSO around 2:30 where Travis had a driver pick me up. Got to the dealer at around 3:30 Transaction was flawless, and I was on the road in an hour. Jeff and Travis were great to work with and highly recommend. Long day, but well worth the savings. Also, saw two more of the forum member's gladiators there while picking mine up. Guy whom was having his shipped to California. Also the guy who drove his motorcycle to pick up his jeep, and was pulling the bike home in a trailer. Have a good Sunday everyone......I need to take a nap.

Picked up my Silver Rubicon yesterday as well. Order mine on 5/2, it was delivered on 6/27. Showed up just after noon and heading home by 2:30. Just missed you!

Eden was 90 miles from our house but the deals were to great to pass up. Just want to second everything that has been said about Travis and Tri-city. Easy to deal with. Honest. No hassle or pressure. Very knowledgeable. The best car buying experience we have ever had. Definitely a customer for life.

+ on the leather. I was nervous about the tan but it looks great! Plus with red the red dash is more of a copper red. Looks like they are trying to match but aren't quite there. With tan leather you get a graphite colored dash which i think looks much better. I like the top off so when the sun beats down on the light brown I think the seats stay a bit cooler than the black when you leave the car parked in the sun and come back after a few.

Definitely- 9.5 hour drive back home for me and still worth it. Nobody back home would deal at all. @ about 6 k in savings that's about $630/hour. Not bad.

When did your window sticker become available on the vin check thing? I ordered mine on 5/6 from Travis, build sheet available but no window sticker yet. Just curious and trying to plan my journey from Pittsburgh to Eden.

Build sheet on the 30th of May. Window sticker on the 1st of June.

Congrats! I have a 10hr drive home when I fly in for mine as well; so he will have a driver pick you up if needed? I was looking at rentals to drive up there from airport.

There's another post floating around with a guy next to Travis, the other gentleman is shorter and Travis looks gigantic, lol.

Did you do your own financing/cash or did you finance through one of the dealer's lenders? If the latter, what kind of rate did you get and did you have that prearranged before you got there or did it happen the day of?

I emailed Travis about this but he is on vacation until July 7.

BTW do you have any more pics of the saddle interior? Mine is Saddle / Billet Silver and haven't seen a lot of the saddle interior online.

I am curious about the financing as well. I found one item on their website but have since had no luck. I was looking for the 36 month rate.

Sent him my flight info and he had a driver from the dealership pick me up. About a 40 minute drive from Greensboro Airport. Guy was right at the airport baggage claim area, 20 minutes before my flight even landed. Worked great.
