I should probably post an actual build thread but I think I might put more detail about the export parts and the swap here.

Great! I prefer it when people do that rather than bury other mods into a thread labelled as something else; it makes it hard to follow/search the technical posts/builds.

Not knocking you at all; I would just love to follow the rest of your build and not have it lost in here.

So am I but I’m still waiting for my jeep to arrive. It’s been sitting at the body vendor since July 8th. Hope it’s done soon and ships fast. I have a stock pile of parts waiting for it.

Do you have the "NON-Blindspot" part number?
And the Rear Euro fog switch also?

Because I will be doing that rear fog conversion... I always thought how stupid that looked with the reflectors. Why can't NA have nice things like EU?

sorry man, been crazy busy. Currently getting the wheels refinished and tires done and the lift done tomorrow. After that I can focus on getting all these parts installed. Gonna start a build thread soon and post in there. Just been crazy busy with work.

Finally got the lift, wheels and tires done. Going to start programming with the Jscan and then hopefully this week I’ll get the rear fog lights installed with the new harness. Once I get that sorted mirrors will be next and I’ll get the tail lights ordered.
Slow process but mind you I’ve only had this about a month and a half.
Anyways here’s some updates pics of the truck until I can get the rest done.

Been in talks with JSCAN, to see what I need to do to get everything to work. I’m planning to hook up the mirrors and rear fog lights today and see if I can get them working.

Welp, good news bad news. Good news is i mounted the mirrors and honestly the mirror itself is a massive upgrade over the stock mirror. The convex mirror makes a world of difference.
Unfortunately the wiring is different. There is 8 pins on the mirror, 7 pin on the harness. The mirror and blind spot function work plug and play but the lamp itself does not. So I’ll have to do more digging to get it to work.
I also mounted and installed the rear fog lamps, and also the complete export rear bumper harness, and what a pain in the ass it was to unhook all the sensors and to get it installed but I got it all hooked up.
Unfortunately again with this one the rear bumper harness has 4 pins and the main harness it plugs into is only 2 pin. So while it still plugs in and the park sensors and license plate light work, I don’t think the rear fog lights will work once I reflash it with the Jscan.
I didn’t get a chance to hook up the JSCAN and try as I ran out of daylight.

Anyways on to the pictures. Still very happy with how it looks but need to get it all working properly.

SOoo I just happened upon this. I ordered the export mirrors along with the new door harnesses as I was adding proximity at the same time on my max tow. I can confirm the main door wiring harness 68299333AF has the turn signal wire and I am still waiting on 68299332AE (Pass side Main harness) and 683255446AE 68349557AE(Export Jumper wire for the mirrors) with those that should get the signal to the door/vehicle connector xy600a. On my Sport S Connector XY600A (Vehicle/ door connector) Is missing pin 7 on the vehicle side. Easiest way I would think would be to use a repair and add in the missing pin (repair kit 68498848AA) I have not been able to find the kit to use the oem connector and have not been able to find the place to tap for the signals. Hope this helps and maybe your Rubicon has the correct pins from the start.

so if I understand correctly, the door harness has the turn signal wire, but you need to add the export jumper?
Also the main vehicle/body connector at the door is missing pin 7 ?
I’ll have to double check my door connector to see if it is the same. Do you have any pictures of your harness to compare too ?
