Was it dropped shipped from Teraflex? I had an issue with a Teraflex item that was dropped shipped from them on a third party order and dealt with Teraflex directly and was squared away rather quickly. This of course was before their buyout and absorbed into the clusterfuck that is Wheel Pro's

I'm not sure who actually boxed/shipped it. I ordered it through Extreme Terrain but instructed to return it to Teraflex.

Both 2.5" kits came in a sealed box labeled "2.5" but the contents of both orders were for a 1.5" lift.

This summer I ordered a bumper from Extreme Terrain and it was missing all the hardware got the same song and dance about order another bumper blah blah ... told them "you folks figure out who dropped the ball or I'm sending it back damaged" got the hardware in 3 days

Gave them one more try (I'll take the vet discount) I just ordered the same 2.5 kit you did however they got my order right. this time

Just a heads up the Teraflex JT 1.5 rear spacers are available on amazon for like $35 each they came in 2 days ( I have a 2023 Max tow using a rubi front suspension and the 2.5 and in the rear max tow with the 1.5) plan on 315/70/17's and have high line rubi LED flares on order

I initially bought a Rough Country 2.5" spacer kit from Extreme Terrain for my wife's Wrangler JL. It showed up fast and in a hurry and all was well. It was missing a couple of bolts but I didn't even notice till near the end of the install. That was mildly aggravating but ultimately not that big of a deal because I just wanted to get it done. I have hardware options very near me so going to get a few bolts wasn't a problem. I didn't know that was the beginning of a pattern of extreme frustration.

But I liked the product and the install was easy so I thought I'd get a kit for my JT from the same place. That's when all this bullshit happened.

so I took pics of the bumper and the empty box but my wife had to stop the old Pirate 4x4 in me from including a PBB salute

Lol yeah the "take pictures" stuff is beyond stupid. I got an email instructing me to take pics after I'd already sent it back. You sell me wrong stuff and then think I'm gonna cheat you out of it? Idiots. Eat a bag of dicks Extreme Terrain.

Unfortunately the problem for me was double-sided. For one, human error boxed up the wrong parts. Okay maybe it was a friday afternoon, whatever. But then the humans that could actually think and use logic were crippled by a stupid computer system that can't process the difference between returns and refunds. Again, idiots, all of them.

I don't know where to put this bitch-fest so it's going here....

We shall call this "Order A". I ordered a 2.5" Teraflex spacer lift for my JT from Extreme Terrain on 10/5/24. $376.00. Arrived to my door on 10/8 and I immediately and excitedly ripped it open. It was wrong. They sent me a 1.5" kit in a 2.5" box. Someone somewhere boxed this thing up wrong. Ugh, very disappointing, but shit happens. I called Extreme Terrain right away and got the return process initiated. Their customer service rep suggested I buy another kit as that would be faster than returning my incorrect kit and waiting for a refund or replacement. I just wanna put this lift on my truck so I agreed and bought the same kit. In the meantime I was directed to take a bunch of pics of the wrong stuff, the box it came in, and was provided a shipping label to send it back to the factory - Teraflex.

So that day...10/8/24...a second 2.5" Teraflex spacer lift kit was ordered from Extreme Terrain. $376.00 again. We'll call that one "Order B". While waiting for Order B to arrive I sent back Order A in it's original box all sealed up as directed. On 10/10/24 Order B arrived and again I ripped that baby open, and to my absolute shock and horror, it was also wrong in the exact same way. Again, these idiots boxed up a 1.5" kit in a 2.5" box and sent it out. Order A and Order B, both totally wrong in the exact same way. So I get back on the phone with Extreme Terrain and start this idiotic process all over again. Once again I have to take a bunch of pics and stuff. Although this time , almost like Teraflex was spying on me, or just coincidence, I get a random email telling me something has shipped. Teraflex has sent me something. A few days later a box with the 2" lift spacers arrives and I can go on about my business. Hooray! I assume this is the replacement for Order A. I install the proper kit no problem in my driveway. All is well as far as that is concerned.

But I'm still sitting on a kit "Order B" I've ordered, instructed to order, that's wrong and neither Extreme Terrain nor Teraflex has done anything about it. More phone calls, more pics, lots of confused customer service reps. Lots of "let me kick this up to my manager" kind of stuff. But no refund. Not even a return label to send it back.

I paid for two kits out of good faith, both of them were wrong, and it took some shenanigans to get the first one right. Finally on 10/26/24....3 weeks after the initial order....I get a return label for the remaining incorrect kit. I ship it out on 10/28/24. I called Extreme Terrain to inform them and they said when it gets back to Teraflex I'll get my refund. Cool. Well Teraflex got it back on 11/5/24 and Extreme Terrain still has not issued my refund even after two more phone calls with their customer service. They keep giving me lip service like "we're putting a priority order on this" and "we've got you flagged for immediate resolution" type crap, but still, where's my fucking money? Here we are over a month past the initial wrong order and I still have no refund.

This is unacceptable.

If either one of you companies reads this, get your fucking shit together and give me my money back. I will not be buying anything else from either of you....and I like to spend money. It will be going elsewhere unless you give me mine back immediately. Make this right.

Greg
I had a similar experience with Exfreme Terrain. Their customer service is abysmal! I ordered Tire pressure sensors and they didn’t work at all. I tried to have them reprogrammed and still no dice. So, i called ET and explained the situation. They wanted me to go BACK to the shop, pay to have the tires taken off, remove the sensors, put the tires back on, and mail them back for a refund. I told them it would cost more to do this work than the cost of the sensors! So then i figured that i would replace the sensors with another new set and send them back once i got it done. But the kicker was that they wouldn’t accept them because it had been more than 30 days! F Extreme terrain. They absolutely suck, and lost a customer forever. I’ll gladly give my money to Quadratec.

I ordered Teraflex bed rail kit through Quadratec. Showed up in a factory sealed box. When I went to install it only had two of the necessary (8) mounting screws in the hardware bag. I went to the local hardware store and got what I needed, then Quadratec reimbursed me what I spent on the screws. I appreciate Quadratec, but seems like Teraflex needs to get their quality control right. These little things add up and ultimately take a brand down. Especially in a community like this where word travels fast.

I had the TeraFlex shop in SLC install my AA RubiCrawler doubler in my JK in October 2009. Dennis and Joe were excellent people, service was great, went wheeling in Moab with them afterwards.
To bad to hear about QC issues and service.
