Hi there,

I'm wanting to eventually move up to 35 inch tires on my Sport S. I currently have the Teraflex 1.5 level kit installed on it. Was wondering if moving up to their 2.5 spacer lift was a good way to get better clearance with 35's, while also giving the JT a nice lift (more for looks then anything).

Anyone use the Teraflex 2.5 spacer kit?

Will I have a level stance with that kit?

Would I need any other parts with this kit?

Thanks.

According to Teraflex the kit will handle 35" diameter tires. Of interest from Teraflex website:
• Caster correction recommended, but not required – NOT INCLUDED. Recommended components: Front Lower Sport Control Arm Kit (# 1253000), or Front Control Arm Sport Frame Bracket Kit (# 1938125), or adjustable 8-Arm Short Control Arm Kit (Alpine: # 1417550 or Alpine IR: # 1417500), and/or HD Forged Adjustable Track Bar(s) (Front # 1753420 or Rear # 1764420). • Requires aftermarket wheels w/ 4.75” backspacing or less – or Offset Wheel Adapters (# 1057000) for stock wheels. • Models with plastic bumpers require removal of bumper-to-fender wind deflector/splash guards to fit 35” or larger tires. • All OEM fenders require 2” Front and 1” Rear Bump Stop Extensions (INCLUDED) to fit 35” tires. • Alignment required. • Requires longer shocks (NOT INCLUDED in base kit)

I had installed the 1.5" Teraflex leveling kit earlier. After installing a winch, I felt that I needed another 1" of level. I added another 1" Teraflex puck to the front, along with an adjustable track bar and shock relocation brackets. I also increased the bump stops from 1" to 2". I like the results. The truck is level from front to back (using a carpenter's level on the bed) and rides the same as before. I may add extended sway bar links in the future, but had no problems with the stock links at full suspension travel. These tires are 34's but I will go with 35's later.

Is that 2.5” of pucks up front?

Yes it is. About 100 lbs. of winch and winch plate had made the 1.5" lifted front squat a little.

And here I am trying to decide whether or not to get the 1.5" kit to move up to 35s. I currently have a 3/4" level up front and it sure looks like I could squeeze some skinny 35s in there without any issues

I guess it all depends on where one is likely to go with his truck. I like to account for suspension flexibility when going offroad. I'm not a serious offroader. Just hunting trails and such, but some places I go could make 35's rub.

Looks nice. I just sold my old Blazer on 42’s and started piecing together a lift kit for my gladiator. Probably going to go with 34-35” tires
