You are preaching to the choir. I have been in education or 20 years. I work at an Early College. Our kiddos earn their AA or AS while in high school and we offer pathways to certifications as well.
We have Adobe Photo Shop and Illustrator, CISCO Networking, Cyber Security, Safe Serve (foods stuff), Hydroponics, full ASE certified auto program that has direct placements in Ford and Subaru. Hoping Jeep will hook us up too.

Our goal is that you enter a four year college as a junior or have the certifications to go start a real career. This school is not for the lazy. Our kids work their butts off. We place them on ability and not by grad level.
Last year we had two of our juniors complete high school and their AS. They were 16 and 3 years ahead.

I think stuff like this would also allow the kids to see the RL aspect of what they are learning and how it can apply to RL

Since creating this post on May 10th, I've been brainstorming this with my custom body shop in Oklahoma City: https://tricitycustoms.com/ (Call and speak to Rob; owner and owns a Jeep Gladiator too). Reference me (Kent Mitchell) and it will save you alot of time as I have been discussing this website with them too.

After discussing with them and the Jeep Dealership in our area, I am researching something out of the box, but will look cool.

My plan is to use the new 4XE Charging Plate on the new Jeeps, see attached pic. Opening up the outside cover, there is a charging port that we would be replacing.

I have the part on order. ($80 unpainted) When it gets here, the body shop is going to drill 2 holes in the plastic area. Having the Hard Black Plastic Cover, it would just look like the new Jeep Hybrid models, so not a eyesore either.

Once I get the part and confirm it is the correct piece, I will paste the pic and info here.

That certainly seems the way to go. It looks like there will be tons of room to work with, and the covered door is great from both a practical (protection) and appearance value.

I'd probably be sitting next to the tire with my inflator which has a gauge on it. I think a quick coupler and a switch is all I'd need to put under that cover plate. With that said, if rugged ridge would sell just the cowl for the snorkel, it looks like most of the work would already be done.
Don't see why this setup wouldn't work just as good on the passenger side.

Do you have the part number for the 4xe charging plate? Is it the whole cowl assembly with the door?

No problem. I am sure there will be a bunch of non-hood scooped guys/gals that will be willing to trade you straight across for your Mojave hood and cowls.

My JK is a 2020 Gladiator Sport.

I had the Snorkel initially (Thumbnail pic); however I have given that away to a friend. The dealership ordered and repainted the plate for me.

I believe the Snorkel option was only on the passenger side and the 4XE Charging panel is on the Driver Side; so 2 different plates. I don't think Jeep makes a 4XE plate for the passenger side, but I could be wrong.

I am still waiting on the Jeep Dealership to find the part that I need; Once identified, I will post here. If someone finds it, please add it too.

Some have suggested I could park in a 4XE parking spot, but that's not cool or nice as those spots are limited for just 4xe Jeeps. I usually park way out, so not to get dinged up.

I have also been trying to find this part. I spent about an hour at a dealership last week with the parts guys looking and calling everyone they could. They could not find a valid part to order yet. We found the electric harness but not the cowl piece.

If money isn't an issue, skip the electric pump stuff. Go engine belt drive.
You might want to go this route. I'm considering it for my F250. If it works out I'll be discussing Jeep V6 Pentastar options with them.

Build an air tank out of your bumper.
