Factory Alpine and Aftermarket Subs

Just purchased my new JT today. I have a 5ch amp and subs I want to install. The JT has the alpine upgrade. I wouldn't have picked it, but this one I wanted happened to come with it.

Few questions:

Is there a write up on upgrading the setup?

Can I add aftermarket subs to this system? Keeping shock HU.

Can I put stock alpine speakers on an aftermarket amp?

Any advice would be great!

there are several writeups for installing systems in JL and JT. Several google results for the JL which is similar. You will need something to manage the signal from the factory head unit to connect a 5ch amp. It takes the scattered digital signal and converts it to something the amp can use...JL audio cleansweep for example.
