Falcon SP2 2.1 long term experience anyone?

Starting to look at shocks and have a budget in mind. I have been looking at these SP2 2.1's but cannot find many reviews. If anyone has feedback on these, that would be great to hear. How easy are they to adjust, difference between soft and performance setting, how are they holding up, etc.

I have stayed away from previous falcons as their previous version (non-sp2) I have heard nightmares about. I would be willing to give these new ones a try however.

They are super simple to adjust . They arrive in the neutral position. It literally is written right on the shock which way to turn them 360°. After install if setting is desired to be changed remove the bottom bolt and rotate them the other direction 360° it's that simple. I love mine when going over rough terrain They push the truck right back up quickly. I have mine set on performance/offroad

At speed it's really responsive .. now if you have it set on Performance offroad they are stiffer and when temps dip below 45degrees it can be noticeable as to the stiffness. But they will take a dip or a big pothole like a champ . I was actually considering getting anti sway upgrade until I got these. . Now the soft mode you will have more sway /body roll

I had set I initially put on my 2020 Rubicon and transferred them over twice to my 2021 WILLYS and 2022 Rubicon. All total, probably had 75K miles on them. When I took them off my 2022 Rubicon to put on a AEV lift with their branded Bilstein made shocks, found the removed SP2 2.1 shocks had a couple of dead spots on the rear shocks on compression. Teraflex/Falcom will supposedly rebuild them for a fee, but I did not go down that route.

I have 32k on my Falcons and still working well. I probably will go with reservoir adjustable shocks next time .

I had the 2.1's on my JLUXR and set them to 'firm/performance' during Canadian winter, they were very stiff, the Jeep cornered like a mediocre sports car from 2 decades ago! I took a few small jumps with it where I'd catch 6-8 inches of air, they performed very well. I'm back in a Mojave now and have these shocks on hand for when I need to replace or rebuild the Mojave shocks.

The XR has a 1.5 inch lift from factory, I added a 1 inch front spacer to hold the bumper/winch and remove the rake. I was running the longer shocks for the 2+ lift or whatever the spec was. The fronts were right under the length where a new driveshaft is recommended.

Had more room to flex here but I hadn't changed out the sway bar links to the Mopar lift kit links yet and wasn't sure how far to push it. Once I did swap the longer links in and flexed it fully the springs were just at a point where they were barely loose, it worked out well. Sorry but no good pics of that.

Only caveat for you the front shocks bolts on the frame are a bigger size . If I remember correctly .

Ya I will have to swap the bushings I believe.
