People going crazy in 3,2,1 ... That thing could be sold by now, right? Why on floor? Has sticker...
My sales person said that it was shipped to them to be delivered to the local Chrysler plant for a full build evaluation. Most likely, it will be driven by one of the higher ups at the plant, just what I need to see running around town, driving me NUTS!

You are correct. The code on the window sticker above the destination charge indicates that it is a corporate vehicle - hence why it shows sold to "FCA", safe to say it will go to a plant manager. The dealership is simply handling the delivery as a courtesy. It would appear that it's one of the first production builds being that the VIN ends in 521 and the first 500 (roughly) were not built for retail.

2. Looking at plane tickets to O'Hare
3. Checking with NetJet and WheelsUp about flying into Rockford
4. Trying to figure out just how much exactly Charlie Daniels was talking when he sang about betting the devil your soul.

Very odd that none show within DealerConnect locater, except Launch Edition orders, however someone we know from FCA said indeed they’ve been assigned to dealerships to be sold and delivered. So, it’s just a matter of when and where.

is my hometown dealer and the place I plan to purchase my Gladiator. They have a black Rubicon on their showroom floor right now. This is the same one I posted about possibly being a $68k government vehicle, this past Monday. I was misinformed but got to be there Tuesday morning to see this beauty roll off the truck! It’s supposed to go to the local assembly plant for evaluation but I call BS and say they are gunna sell it. We will see. If your looking for one to see, look not further just go for a ride and tell them I sent ya!

Like them as much as any other Rubicon. Just decided to wait for the color I wanted and couldn't get it on a le. Wouldve considered a le otherwise.

My point was it wasnt worth paying extra for and likely wouldnt be anything other than another Rubicon in the long run. Otherwise, wth, why not. Certainly isnt any less cool than any other Rubicon. So if someone wanted the badge and black wheels, cool.

I can tell you one thing - if I’m shopping for a used JT in 5 years, it’ll be an LE. That way I know it’ll actuallyhave *everything* on it, unlike all of the other “loaded” jeeps for sales on Craigslist that are only loaded with BS.

Hey TommyBoy cool find. I am just wondering what it is that Jeep has wrapped up and sitting in the back seat. Is that the freedom panels bag? Have never seen that bag and I know that a lot of people on this forum have wondered where and how they could stow their freedom panels when they had them removed. We all know that they will never fit behind the back seats, just way too big. So I think it would be best and safest to put them in the bags that come with the truck and then put them in the bed under the “ton oh” cover as some would pronounce it. Is this that bag? Or did you see the bag in the bed?

And did you get any good pictures of the insulated roof? I know that some here were wondering if it will be worth the money and if it will help much. Did not see much insulation on the front freedom panels and really could not see what the back seat roof area insulation looked like.

Oh and stupid question but did you ask them to call you if FCA decides to let them sell it after all?

I wonder if that's "to be sold" to customers like you and me.... or like this one... already sold, just passing through a dealership as the closest delivery point....

Did a VIN inquiry on the window sticker that was posted, its an EXECUTIVE LEASE PROGRAM vehicle, 42 months UNLIMITED MILES bumper to bumper warranty.

I've searched the locate system again today AND ZERO Gladiators even show in transit anywhere.

The bag in the back seat were molded floor liners similar to weathertech mats. The sold top is in there but was sitting on the floor. Didn’t see anything for it though.

I can grab some more pics today, I’ll stop over and take some now that it’s all prepped. The roof liner on the back half is super nice! It’s molded to fit and cover up all the white that is normally an eye soar. The front panels aren’t all that impressive however. I don’t know if they will give much insulation but as a custom accessory shop owner, I’m gunna purchase that option for sure.
