All stations are not equal. If the submersible pump in the storage tank is oversized to compensate for high volume sales and or the flow rate is higher than mandated(5gpm), the shut off will not react quickly enough and those pesky air pockets in the horizontal line from the filler to the tank will burp fuel. My YJ needed a reduced flow as it came close to topping out. A defective valve in the nozzle will also cause this but rare. I spent many years repairing C-Store and station equipment and electronics. Not an issue if you pay attention.Don't have my JT yet but my TJ's and JK did that at certain gas stations only.
