Today, I happened to accidentally run my tank down to E. Long story on how it happened. I was actually worried that it would start sputtering I was stuck in traffic trying to get to an exit for fuel. When I finally made it to a station and filled it, the most it filled to was 19.081 gallons. I was shocked given that I thought I had remembered that we have a 22 gallon tank. Guess I didn’t need to worry as much as I was.

You must be one of those that worries about running out of gas and always fills up at a 1/4 tank. Every car I've owned has at least 2 gal left when the gauge says empty.

Yesterday I unintentionally got low on fuel. Was more of an observation rather than trying to get really low: gas at the Costco was 30c per gal cheaper than the station near me and I needed to go to that area anyway.

Anyway, fuel estimator showed 12mi remaining and the "Low" status still didnt come on. Finally did after a mile or two, I was 5mi from the gas station. At that point I should have had 1gal left as 15mi estimated remaining fuel on an average of 17mpg is 1gal.

I filled up, got about 20.5gal in on auto-shut off. Waited 30sec, set it to pump again, repeat, and got another 1/2gal in. No overflow.

So, tank does indeed have 22gal

Indiana - a gas station every 5 miles even on back roads, and every 2 miles on other roads.
NE and KS - "next gas station 60 miles"
IA - if towing a load and getting about 12 mpg, you'd better fill at the next station.

I just came here to see if anyone is having issues. My guage today was all light up (low fuel, lights on, no estimate of miles left) - even though I really didn’t remember it being that low the day before. But didn’t question my sanity - I thought maybe I wasn’t paying attention. I got to the gas station and it only took 12 gallons and then spilled over. I was really confused…how it wouldn’t take any more. So now I’m wondering if the gauge was giving me a wrong reading the whole time this morning. I really did think I had a bunch of fuel in there.

Now I have to be checking this thing to see what it’s doing….so I can get warranty fix if it’s off by that much.
Anyone else think their gauge is out?
