Thanks for all the great advice and info on this forum.

Had to slow drive the backroads from Idaho, but well worth it.

Shout out to Cutting Edge Customs in Post Falls.

$1K less than 2 other shops in Spokane, plus they recommended Revolution gears, which is what I wanted.

Awesome! I have a box with revolution 5.13 gears sitting in a box in the garage. Been on 37s with 4.10 for 30k miles. Looking forward to getting it done in the next few weeks.

I was skeptical when I first installed my 5.13's, but I have since learned to love them. It certainly feels "peppier". but boy does it go through gears quickly!

still, a vast improvement from the 4.10's I had and its really nice to see 8th gear again.

What’s work?
Oh hell! 3.73s and 37s that’s a brutal combination. Hope you didn’t have that set up long

Got my 5.13s installed this last Friday, man its soooo much better. 5th and 6th gear were completely useless before. Luckily I only went about 1-1.5 weeks before getting mine done. Getting an average of 19mpg highway and 16-17 in town.

I’m still running 3.73 on 40’s. And somehow still getting 21 average. The eco-sooter doesn’t care as much as the 3.6.
my previous jk ran 37’s and 5.13’s. Was just a lil too low for me when all said and done. But was also driving 800 miles a week at the end, all highway, so was not ideal.

So how is freeway or long distance travel with the new gearing? One day I might be going to 38s and have been recomended the same gearing. I do trips from Ca to AZ to visit family so lots of freeway miles.
