First Granite Crystal VIN# Post Here

Kayakmike. Appreciate that you took this pic. It’s one of those things that make an LE an LE. Saw a guy the other day in Lowe’s parking lot with a jacked up Gladiator. It looked cool but he was goo goo over our GCLE. Mad respect.

No problem. So new I didn't even take the screen protector off the display or the warning sticker from the glove box.

I am a little bummed the window sticker is faded and double printed. Was kinda hoping for a keepsake, but it's a piece of junk. Kent's going to ask his rep if they can print another one.

After picking it up last night I took a 2 hour drive north to McCall, ID to stay with a friend. A little bit of driving around town, and definitely getting some dropped jaw looks. Rented a mountain bike that I could just throw in the bed, and now have a little dirt back there. Tomorrow I'll really start stretching it's legs. Hoping to cross the pass over to Stanley, ID/Sawtooth Mountains if they don't get too much snow tonight. From there I'm thinking of south through Twin Falls, ID, Ely, NV then maybe through Death Valley and Trona.

My Grandad’s horse ranch (the one who had the Willys ranch truck) is in Ely! I cowboyed there every summer growing up! Hauled hay, fixed fence, circled cows, branded calves, etc... for most the ranches in the area! We (my family) lived there for 3 years! Have a great ride, drive safe, it’s beautiful, wish I was there! ;{

Picked up my GCM LE yesterday!! I love it!! But unfortunately I had to drive it back in heavy rain. Its quite dirty already!

Probably quicker than mine at 21 days, to go 700 miles. It sat a lot at the factory, 10 days, a few more days in Chicago, and then a few more at Council Bluffs waiting to get unloaded.

With tomorrow marking 6 months, I think I'm pulling the rip cord. I can't get a straight answer as to what the hold up in I status is. Jeep Care doesn't return messages and as awesome as the concierge service ladies are, they are sacrificial lambs to those of us that have been seeking answers with no help from their higher headquarters.

Cant abandon the brand completely yet as long as Dirty Acres is in business, but the Vette is looking nicer and nicer for less money.

With tomorrow marking 6 months, I think I'm pulling the rip cord. I can't get a straight answer as to what the hold up in I status is. Jeep Care doesn't return messages and as awesome as the concierge service ladies are, they are sacrificial lambs to those of us that have been seeking answers with no help from their higher headquarters.

Cant abandon the brand completely yet as long as Dirty Acres is in business, but the Vette is looking nicer and nicer for less money.

Here's the latest reading postings over the last few days. All Granite LEs from the first group of we've been tracking have finally been built!

Just got back home. 1300 miles on mine over the last 2+ days, with about 200 miles off pavement. Definitely things I love & things that could be improved. When I get caught up here at home I'll dump my initial thoughts.

Washed off yesterday's mud this morning, only to get a good coating of California desert dust on it today. Think I have pretty good drone footage at the Trona Pinnacles on the way home today too. A few photos from today:

Go figure Paige calls today to let me know its in a KZ status, I thought she said F but I couldn't hear well.

Maybe get it before Christmas or Thanksgiving. Gonna make it in to a plane with Christmas lights
