The hard top inside is white. The sound deadening that they stick on is dark. So most of the white is covered but there is still some white hard surface on the hard top that you can see.

OK... I’m confused... what headliners are white? @HikerBob’s (in the photos) are black. Just not sure what white headliners you’re referring to?;{

The Freedom tops with headliner removed (or not installed to begin with) are white... right? But the headliners (at least all I’ve seen) are black. My take on @HikerBob’s post was that the exposed parts of the white roof, should be same color as the interior framework, (Granite Crystal)... or as I suggested, maybe painted black to match headliner?

Yes, you may be able to paint the white parts (depending on material), or cover with the spiderwebshade or similar. The white exists on all JLs and JTs.

I saw some posts on JL Forum say they do it to all their Jeeps! Gotta carefully mask off the exterior painted parts, of course... most of the ceiling of the cab is covered by the black sound-heat/headliner, (if included), so it’s really only a few inches visible, around the edges. I was planning on doing it (spraying the exposed white parts of my interior cab roof Granite Crystal Metallic, to match the interior exposed frame sections of the cab)... but I’ll probably live with it, as is, for awhile, to see if it bothers me less, with time! Still would like to try and keep mine as “Stock as possible!”
