We didn't negotiate a price, and I definitely didn't order them. TBH, the dealship was a mess -- they had no idea what was going on, and basically just ran my credit card before they even confirmed they had it ordered.

But I'll take your advice and have them throw it in. Can't imagine they put up a fight about that.
They ran your credit when you ordered, but you didn't negotiate a price? :facepalm:

If it's not on your POC, there is no reason for you to pay for them. However, if you didn't negotiate a price I'm guessing they plan to charge you MSRP (or over based on your last post), so they can definitely "throw them in". You should fight for at least affiliate pricing (1% under invoice) if you sign up for Tread Lightly or similar affiliate program. TL requires you to be a member for 30 days before you get an affiliate code, so it may be too late for that one. You can search the forum for affiliate pricing or look at the sticky for TL. Or walk away from this one and buy one at a discount from one of the dealers that have Granite LEs sitting on the lot.

I signed up for TL earlier in the month, so I can probably make that work. For clarification, they ran my credit *card* for the $1000 deposit, not my actual credit (not sure if that's what you were referring too). But yeah, I was in a massive rush, and they didn't know what to do. So it was a perfect storm. I expect to be charged MSRP. I'll make sure to post pics of the phantom door sill plates on the most expensive stock LE in history!

Delivery really depends on where you live. I know for my ID dealer, he said typically 2-3 weeks...about 2 weeks by rail to SLC, then about a week to get the vehicles on a carrier for the last 4 hour drive to the dealer. Folks 1-2 hours from Toledo see theirs in about a week. Typical delivery time to SoCal is ~3 weeks. Not knowing the route it would typically take to NM, it would be hard to guess. Think your dealer would be the best source of typical delivery times and the normal route. 10-12 days may be optimistic.
I think whatever route, the train drop should be right in Albuquerque, at the Abq freightyard. From there it’s only a few miles to Dealer. I know it’s optimistic... but I’ve had so many delays already, I’m hoping the Wheeler Powers that be, might give me a bit of a Karmic break on my delivery time! :angel::turkey:;{

Oh that makes more sense. I hadn't heard anyone getting a credit pull until they go to finance the vehicle when they pick it up. You should be able to get the affiliate pricing if you signed up a few weeks ago. Not all dealers honor the affiliate program, but most do.

If the sticker shows sill guards, they won't be phantom and they should be installed. Should look like this: https://www.quadratec.com/p/mopar/door-sill-entry-guards-jeep-gladiator-jt-82215551 The Mopar ones are OK, but the Rugged Ridge ones cover more of the sill and were less than the Mopar ones, so I went that route. https://www.quadratec.com/p/rugged-ridge/front-rear-entry-guards-jeep-wrangler-jl-unlimited-11216.32

By phantom I meant appeared on the window sticker out of nowhere :) I'm just disappointed for $125 they don't light up!

Not all cities that have rail yards are set up to offload vehicles. If ABQ has large parking lots near the rail head with shiny new cars in them, it may be unloaded there. I don't think it matters if your dealer is around the corner from the rail head or several hours away. They still need to fill up a carrier to take it to the dealer. Again, your dealer is probably your best bet for info once it's in transit.

Kent e-mailed. My Granite LE is off the train in SLC waiting for carrier to Nampa, ID next week. Flying to Boise 9/30 to pick it up.

Here's the latest. No new Granite LEs from the first batch coming off the line since 9/18. Still 25 of 439 waiting window stickers missing. So mostly delivery updates. About 1/3 of us have their Granite LEs in hand now.

My GCLME is in my hands....well worth the wait! The only thing I was disappointed in on the lot was the Auto Stop/Start!
Love it and worth the wait for the color!

The ASS is super simple. You can disable it temporarily with the “Off” button on the center console... or permanently by disconnecting the sensor under the hood. See 5 min “Start/Stop Hack” video on YouTube. I think it can also be disabled with a Tazer (reprogrammer) as well... but unplugging the sensor is super easy, did it on our Cherokee with no tools, took 30 seconds! Also disabled our seatbelt chime... even easier! See 3min “Seatbelt Chime Hack” YouTube! (Look under “Jeepinformant”). ;{

Picked up my GCMJTLE today. Love the color. I am glad the wife made me wait and not change the color. Here are some pics. Ellie is parked next to her older sister Rubi.

Ellie’s beautiful... everytime I see another pic, I love this color (and this truck) even more! Spectacular! Can’t wait! ;{
