I'm not here to find info that you find pleasing. We find what is out there and share it with everyone, disappointing or not. These are official. That alone makes it newsworthy and I cautioned these are early versions.

There's been more early leaks (CAD, axles, tops, dealer system info, etc) on the JT than the JL, so expect that info will be harder to come by. A lot of it has already been baked in with the JL release.
Jay, we'll take whatever you can get us! Thanks for everything!

Roughly about what I figured it would look like and to Jay's point it certainly looks like an early rendering. Hopefully in the next handful of months we start seeing some mules closer to the production version so we can get a better idea of what it'll look like. I keep picturing the JT all outfitted rolling on 37's and its just beautiful. The little scraps we get keeps me going.

I think this pretty much means the front will be identical to the JL. Even if an early mockup seems what they were thinking from the get go. There go my dreams of something more like the Crew Chief :(
With talk of it being expensive I thought maybe they would invest in a different front clip or grill. Still could happen but I agree it appears not. I do still think it looks great but hopefully there are other areas where the extra cost is going that we havent heard bout yet.

Still hoping it looks as close to an AEV Brute as possible:

I'm starting to wonder if FCA wrote a big fat check to AEV to move them out of the Jeep business. AEV was big into the J8 program, and could have been a major hurdle for FCA trying to design around the Brute. I could see FCA buying a division of AEV, and throwing some design engineers and intellectual property at the new JT.

Wasn't there some talk about AEV being involved in the JT program or something like that? I could've sworn I read that somewhere.

Yea, I know I read that too a couple of years ago. I might have even read the same about Dodge. I'm sure they got something out of it since the JT is going to put the Brute Dept at AEV out of business.

AEV has been involved with Chrysler in the past for development of products on both sides. AEV went as far as to have Chrysler engineers working with their team to produce products (bumpers mostly) that meet their crash test ratings, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if FCA heavily used AEV's design for the JT, or at least a few ideas from it (composite bed structure, etc.) to streamline the design process. AEV recently did a Q&A on Facebook and talked about ceasing production of the Brute as Jeep is building their own version and they did not want to compete, but will be offering products for them. Came across more like they were asked to leave versus wanting to, but who knows. If the JT is a more refined and affordable Brute ill be happy. I just hope it reads "Jeep" across the tailgate!

‘If’ the JT does not resemble an AEV Brute, I know what will be in my garage:

There are only 3 problems with that - JK based, no soft top, and near 6-figure cost... Otherwise, that's a nice rig!

Here's a first look at the JT Jeep Gladiator Pickup! Keep in mind these are likely early renditions as it does seem to be missing production elements.

Those pics have some very visible and troubling problems with them:

1) they seem to have the JK windscreen/hinge and not the JLs
2) they have what appears to be a fixed roof - maybe with removable panels, definitely not the soft-top we've been teased with
3) they aren't in Mojito!

Ehh... not "near" 6-figures... try $130K! The 6.4 conversion was a $30K option and the Filson was another $20K. https://www.filson.com/aev-brute
I bet one the JT will come out those buyers will be taking it in the shorts. The only way that wouldn't be the case is if they didn't drive it and it becomes a collector item.
