I understand the Convoy and 20-for-20 releases are not all going to be winners, but did I miss something on the "Shadow Ops" theme? Is it tied to a movie release or something? I'm not getting the Shadow Ops direction, especially as I thought it was only on black or grey (I guess a stealth look) and now when I see it on '41, it looks even more like WTF.

Jeep is going crazy this year with the 12 releases and stuff like this where they hype it up, add a few little things to a standard trim and charge a lot more. I would rather see them REMOVE stuff and drop the prices significantly. How about a "stock" Rubicon with no power windows, basic radio rather than a HD movie screen, no lane sense or other high tech gadgetry and just optimize the offroad features included. To much fluff and "looks" over 4x4 functionality that adds to the cost IMO.

My local dealership has one of these and its $68,000.00 Thats just stupid pricing in my opinion considering the resale prices on the gladiators. Buy today at 68 grand and in 2 years 29 grand. WTF.

Order it the way you want it, I saved 5 grand deleting the warning sensors and heated seats package from.my Rubicon JT, still damn expensive at 60,000 with TTD

It's $3500 to get the steel bumper and Warn winch on a regular Rubicon. The black grille is $395. The decals are $400.

What's the other $705 for?

It looks sharp but I could option a regular Rubicon similarly for less.
