Caught a glimpse of the floor mats.

That's what I'm excited about. Always wanted some thiiccccc luxury carpet mats in my Jeep. They should go ahead and make those an option in the Sahara. Atleast it sort of makes sense there.



What do I know though, even my Camaro has hi sided Weathertech floor liners in it because I'm a neanderthal and get into my vehicles with dirty shoes and eat cheeseburgers at Sonic in the driver seat.

The seats are cool, but the rest of the vehicle is just meh. Jeep kinda mailed in the 80th anniversary editions, but the 75th editions were cool. I remember the bronze wheels, bronze badging, bronze bumper, and other 75th specific touches.

I agree the 75th was great, and it was a Sport S but with the Rubicon hood. Think it had black leather seats too with the 75 Anniversary logo embossed? Idr for sure on that detail though.

Jeep absolutely phoned in the 80th and this is only slightly “neater” because of the plaid. Literally the rest is lazy.

This should be a package you can get on any Wrangler model and on most Gladiator models minus the Mojave (cause those you can already get diff colored leather interior). Just my $0.02, but these plaid interiors on a Rubicon or Sahara would be neat.

Although I agree with it as an option package, it doesn't work with their marketing strategy of "special" editions.

Problem is aside from the Moab, there's nothing really special about any of them. It's really disappointing.

Very true. I remember back in 2013 when they did the 10th anniversary Rubicon, it was the only model you could get the red leather, red accents, and Anvil color on. It was so popular that they made Anvil available on literally every single FCA product they ever made, and the red accents became standard on Rubicons soon after. The seats were widely available on Recon X packages and so-on. When they strike ‘gold,’ they’re good about milking it. And I think the plaid will be the next “in” thing they do as a heritage package option for the next several years.

I think they should do a "Boomer" edition with vinyl bench seats, lap belts, and a sweater that makes you look like you have saggy man boobs and a Grey hairy chest.

That's a pretty sad 'package'. I do like the seats, but they could have added a bit more substance. I still miss my 75th:
