Joined team Jeep! After years of dreaming of having a Gladiator since it first was introduced, I’m happy to say that I’m very happy to finally have pulled the trigger. I kept my eye on several Gladiators at our local Jeep dealership, mainly focused on the Mojave and Rubicons. When the opportunity came about by discounts on certain models, we pulled the trigger!
My initial plans for add ons are:
  • Bedliner (spray or mat)
  • Tounneou
  • All weather mats
  • Soft top
As far as the bed liner, I’m leaning towards the spray but would like to see what other option might better and why.
Open to suggestions on what’s next and what to expect.

Really nice JT and it looks like you got a great deal.

For the bedliner, I would do spray-in personally. Another good option that is more comfortable but gives a little less bed protection is Bedrug.

You can always add a spray in bed liner later

I have the spray-in and it love it. I occasionally use my truck for “truck things”. When I am done, it power washes out to look brand new.

Had the soft top. Didn’t care for it. Switched to a hardtop with the Sunrider. Something you may want to consider.

Bed rug all the way. Stuff doesn’t slide, soft on the knees. Haul what you want and washes off perfectly. Looks great and when it’s time to trade or sell, ed looks brand new! No dents or scratches

Welcome, nice buy!
I would suggest spray-in bedliner and all weather mats to start with. I started out with a soft tri-fold Tonneau cover that I got off of FB marketplace. It worked well but wanted a low profile hard tri-fold for more security on our travels. Also wanted to access the entire bed, so I bought a cover that would fold all the way up and be supported by 2 support arms. Makes access to our stuff much easier.

With my 2025 Gladiator Rubicon, I went with Linex Premium spray in liner, an Openroad4WD retractable tonneau cover and 3W floor mats. Very happy with my choices.

I appreciate the suggestions! The bed rug is enticing, I’m leaning towards a spray and a mat. I opted for the hard top and will get a soft top for ease of open top trips on sunny days.

Leave the soft top on for the summer, and switch to the hard top for the winter. They aren't easy to switch back and forth.

I like my bedrug. It was something of a bitch to install, dealing with all those velcro pieces, but I like the end product. My tonneau is the bestop one with the twill fabric. I don't like the ones that have that fake leather look with the black vinyl like it's 1989 still. Bestop, and the Rugged Ridge Armis are the two I could find that were a fabric look tri-fold soft tonneau. If I was going to do it again, I'd probably get the black diamond fabric instead of the black twill. The twill grabs every piece of dog hair and lint that passes you by. A minor thing completely, but just something to note.

I had Lund Genesis tonneaus on my previous tacomas, but it seems they don't exist anymore. And now every brand has been bought up by RealTruck so options are limited.

All-weather mats, I got the OE ones with mine, but I have Quadratec mats in my TJ's and I like them just fine.

Frankly, I'd just skip the soft top and just use the freedom panels, or take off the entire hard top on the days you want it fully open. I don't think the cost is worth it.

What do you think of the floor mats, any pics? I've always used weatherteck but in all honesty the fit isn't always that good.
