Bought one of these for flushing the mud out of the inside of the frame rails:

Jeep Gladiator Flushing inside of frame rail 1720551366727-f6

Amazon.com: 15FT Sewer Jetter Kit Pressure Washer,1/4‘’NPT Drain Cleaner Hose 5800PSI,With Sewer Cleaning Tool High-Pressure Nozzle. : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Used the rotating nozzle on one end of the hose and attached the other to my pressure washer spray gun. Inserted into the frame rail from the front tire well on each side. Worked really well. Pushed it down all the way to the end. Had to jiggle the hose in a couple of spots due to a bolt sticking up inside (maybe from my rock sliders). Once at the end, pulled the trigger and the water came out all brown and later turned clear. Then pulled up the hose a short way until the water was brown again and repeated until the nozzle reached the entry hole in the frame rail. Very pleased with how well it worked. Fifteen feet of hose is plenty long.

Nice move! You seem to care about corrosion as I do now that I moved back where it snows. What are you doing about the seam and body of your Jeep?

Haven’t done anything about the seams. My concern about the frame rail was the mud that gets in there from offroading. The mud holds moisture against the metal, which i figured could lead to hidden corrosion over time. Not flushing out the rail when i also use the pressure washer to clean the mud from the undercarriage seemed like a job half done. The issue was how best to do that. So far the sewer jet sprayer has worked best for me.

Great idea! I've been using an undercarriage water broom to power wash the fleet in the spring and just the Jeep after wheeling. This is definitely next level. I added it to my cart.

How much of the salt crap is left on roads now that it's summer? Since I've been doing a refresh on my Scamp a trip to it's birth place might be good. 🤔 Otherwise I keep starting other projects.

On thread topic good thing on flushing out frame rails of mud n crud. I need to do mine especially after trip down to Florida.

Salt is gone after a spring rain or two. Summer is great up here.

I just brought home a 2024 JT last week that had been on the lot since January, ‘24. 89 miles in the odo.

Paperwork from Jeep in the glovebox says it was delivered to the dealer I bought it from which is 2-3 hours inland. When I was under it installing rock rails I was surprised at some of the rust spots that are slightly more than surface rust on the painted frame and adjacent parts, as well as around some welds.

You can’t get to the beach from here in 89 miles, much less round trip, and I don’t recall our roads being brined this past winter. Maybe I just forgot, but it just seems off to me.
