I know this is specific, but here goes. I’m a huge audio quality fan at home, but haven’t bothered in a vehicle in the last 20 years. Here are my goals for this question, with the understanding that if I can’t meet these goals, I’ll just not do anything.

I have the 7” radio without any alpine upgrades, meaning base level Oem speakers with no subwoofer. I’d be willing to spend a small amount of Black Friday money only if I expect a noticeable improvement in sound quality, but I’m not aiming to impress the car audio gods. There’s a good Crutchfield cyber Monday sale that has great Focal car speaker prices.

So here’s the question. Does anyone have personal experience with Focal replacement speakers for the sound bar, knee panel, and dash corner speakers, while keeping the 7” mopar radio? I have no interest in replacing the head unit. Thanks!

The 3.5’s in the dash and rollbar are worth upgrading. This will give the vocals and clarity upgrade most are seeking.

The 4” midbass in the knee panel and rollbar is not. It is not a coax from the factory and replacing it with a coax does not make sense from an SQ perspective. Beyond that, it takes power to make the most of a midbass.
