People Work?
So a Chevy with a broken frame finished ahead of the Jeep and we're celebrating?

It's got some really nice features. I'll give it a look when they finally begin to show up on dealer's lots.

The manual in the JT sucks. There, I said it.
You're wrong. There i said it
I've never taken the hardtop off because it's a pain
boring
I've taken the doors off once
you sound like my wife, also double boring
terrible mileage
fair enough
tight quarters
fat
I'd JB weld the doors and hardtop so they'd never come off if it meant having a better engine.
So why are you even here?

As a die hard manual transmission fan I'll take a poorly executed one over the best automatic in the world any day of the week. I have a 2022 f250 tremor and I detest the 10 speed auto in it. To be fair to it though I hate any automatic and can't stand that we no longer have a manual option in HD trucks. I don't plan to buy another HD truck for as long as the current one will run due to lack of a manual option.

I plan to do a clutch upgrade on my JT as soon as the factory shows any I'll effects.

The new offerings, ie ATX4, Ranger Raptor, etc. make for a lot of compelling choices.
It will be interesting how new offerings from the competition affect the future of the JT.

Very solid demand and pre-sales already with the 2023 "twins" (Colorado/Canyon) and all new 2024 Ranger and Tacoma coming soon are also generating lots of attention.

We'll see.

And it's still on my short list of replacements for my Gladiator, should I ever need one

For a thousand dollars more than the sticker price for my Max Tow Sport I'd get a loaded to the hills ZR2 with considerably more horsepower and torque? Looking forward to seeing one in person.
I'm waiting on my local dealer to get in so I can see it in person. There's a good chance it will be replacing my JT Willys. Nothing wrong with it and no issues, just miss the comforts.

Just curious Have you driven a good zf like the actual 8hp75 in the v8s and diesel Mopar? I think they're pretty solid. Much better than the 10spd Ford or the older Mopar trans.

There's literally a recall and stop sale on them because they suck so hard. Lol https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/stop-sale-on-manual-transmission-glads.68029/
Easy to fix with a properly designed replacement from the aftermarket.

And then you still have a manual, which the other trucks don't have (the original point that you responded to).

You're aware of that, right?

You also don't take the hardtop off? You're missing out on some fun, I recommend it.

The ZF is buttery smooth and always in the right gear. My diesel has plenty of power and I can’t see myself trading for anything else in the near future.

It was intended for you and Bonanza (sorry meant to add him too).

You both said the manual sucks, which was in response to Rahkmala saying the manual is a reason to get the Gladiator over other trucks.

So I was just making both aware that the manual can be "fixed", and then you still have the manual.
