I won't need a winch for I will not off-road this truck that hard. so I'm looking for a nice stubby bumper to replace stock on my Sport without a big winch hole on top.
I like the looks of the Rugged Ridge stubby but it is open on top. So anything close to this out there?

Please post any your using and or options.

Thank you in advance.

I have been beating this same dilemma around for a long time and finally pulled the trigger on a Fab Four stubby with prerunner guard...now trying to figure out what 3x3 fog lights to install. The only other option I could figure out was dv8 or rugged ridge Spartacus.

Any chance you could post a pic?
Thanks for the input.

Edit: My bad I reread your requirements and missed the part about NOT wanting a winch hole.

How stubby you looking for because I've always really liked the Rock Hard stubby... super simple design and retains factory fogs. Since it has a high-mount winch, there won't be an opening, only a few holes.

Otherwise, I'd be looking at high-mount winch bumpers in general. They won't have the hole on top or the fairlead opening up front.

This is currently my #1 option.
Hoping to discover a few other options.
I was looking for the same thing and went with the Spartacus. Been very happy with it. Another benefit is it's weight. Doesn't add much at all so no sag.

I'm leaning this way for the weight advantage mention.

I will see what others post for I have a few months before purchasing.

I will check Rock Hard Stubby out.
Thank you.

What about the mopar stubby bumper? Or is that too expensive and/or heavy?

It's also an option. Pricey for sure.
I really like the Rugged Ridge stubby look. It's a little heavier and unfortunately open on top for winch.
If I can find something close to that without the winch provisions I would be happy.

I would like to stay away from something too heavy to reduce front end sag.

FYI, per rugged ridge website you will need new fog lights or brackets for sport models. Not sure if that matters to you.

Well. That helps to narrow it down.
Thanks.
