Front hitch on Mojave?

Charbel, I used a LOD winch plate very well made and powder coating was excellent , but I put my winch in the stock plastic bumper as a weight saving thing, you probably have the steel Mopar bumper so be sure what you get works with that.....Jack

Thanks! I figured the winch out, my problem is the front hitch receiver as it relates to the fox shock reservoir held near the front hitch area taking up some screw holes. See image

I posted a picture of the modified shock res. mount but can't find it . First off it is a very easy modification and the shock mount is as strong or stronger then OEM when done, you need a hacksaw and a drill bit to drill out a rivet nut. Take off the res. bracket remove res. from it, place hitch where it needs to go and you will see one of the bolts and rivet nut are in the way, the rivet nut has to be removed to get the hitch in everything is built to a tight spec and the space of two rivet nuts has to go, remove rivet nuts with drill bit, set hitch in place then hold up shock bracket and mark it where it overlaps the hitch mount, then you have to cut the almost 45 degree angle cut make it close. When done install hitch and shock res. bracket should fit right up tight against hitch bracket and be held with one bolt, there is no way res. can move as hitch bracket locks it in. It is easier then it sounds to do!.....Jack

Wow that cut he made was perfect, I’ll be able to do that! No need for the shock res to have 4 bolts holding it in, 3 is more than enough.

HA, there are only two bolts holding each shock res. but one works great!.....Jack

Anyone put a front hitch on 2020 Mojave? Did a search and Curt hitch says not for Rubicon or Mojave. Anyone know what will fit?

This is a great thread! I was able to mount the front receiver hitch on my 2022 Mojave. I used the Curt Trailer Hitch 31086. When it came to the reservoirs, I simply swapped the brackets from left to right and tipped the orientation up a bit before bolting it down. I admittedly used only one out of two bolts but given the size of the bolts, one should be plenty to hold everything in place... To save a little money, I bought a plastic air dam for a 2022 Gladiator and cut it to size. This way when I trade it in, I can put the OEM skid plate back on undamaged from the slot I would have needed to cut for the receiver anyhow. In the past, I have had ignorant dealerships have a heart attack when they saw the front receiver so my advice is to always save your parts so you can make everything OEM before you bring it back. Happy to not have to shovel Buffalo snow this season!
