What is the best option for a front sway bar replacement?

The mounting hole on the driver's side has become elongated and no longe around. The bolt continues to rattle around and loosen up. Should I go with a stock replacement or are there better/different options out there for daily driving and occasional off-roading?

Easiest / cheapest would probably just be a factory replacement. But it really depends on what you do, and what you want.

Sway bars help control and mitigate over-steer and/or under-steer.
Unless you know what you are doing, go back to stock. Going stiffer, or less stiff, can change handling and maybe in ways you don't expect.

So unless you need to make a change to the handling, stick with stock or one that at least matches the "stiffness" of the stock bar.

They are engineered and chosen for specific handling characteristics.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking to stay with the stock replacement but just wanted some other advice.

anti-rock is a compromised solution. i'd much prefer a disconnect on stock over what amounts to just a really soft swaybar.

Yeah - this..........↑↑↑

A softer bar up front will contribute more to what pickups in general have - light butt-ends and a tendency to want to let loose on the rear, and increase front roll.

I'd maybe look for a Rubicon sway bar take-off or get a stock bar and add those disconnects to that if I was so inclined as to need a front disconnect.

Last thing I'd do is a less stiff sway bar on the front of a pickup.
