hello guys,
current working on the fuel filter cover that it is made of plastic, I have a socket size is 1 1/4 12-point, and the and it is stripping off the plastic cover bolt or cover. and I am afraid of pushing on . can some one please tell me what exactly size of the plastic bolt or cover it is.

Here's another question, being plastic, I'm doing mine today. Most all u tube videos say snug, I say torque it down. what's everyone else doing?

After it bottoms out (you can feel it), I normally go back and check it is torqued to 18ft-lbs. If you don't bottom it out first, sometimes the o-ring causes enough resistance on the way in that the wrench will click, before it is really tight and it could leak

The housing only turns so far. The drain vale has to line up with the hole in the skid plate.

Very good comment. Some had made the same mistake with an oil filter too by using a torque wrench before bottomed out first.
