Nothing. It is a dealer add on GPS that some do to their vehicles.

Rip it out if you would prefer your dealer to not know your location at all times.

It’s part of Mopar EVTS system. Mine came with it as well. Basically vehicle location/tracking system. Good ole dealer add-on.

His profile says its an LE, shouldn't it already have Sirius Guardian tracking? Why would someone pay for that too?

Too much lol. Mine came with 3 years so haven't got renewal yet. Similar features to SiriusXM Guardian/UConnect, I did not want EVTS, was a dealer add-on that had to negotiate off (yippie).

Appears that silver would be $149/yr and gold would be $249/yr though.

So I assume this means it's an add-on, junkier version of the useless Sirius concierge/tracking service for models that don't include that? I'm confused, for some reason I thought they all had the ability to use the Sirius service.

I just renewed Guardian, but only the app part like remote start/unlock/etc, not the stupid call-in feature. In 2021, who would call someone to give them info, when we all have a smartphone? Weird service that can't possibly survive much longer.

Did you get any kind of deal on that? Mine expired last Tuesday and they tried to sell me the whole package for $250. No thanks. All I ever used was the remote start when I was in the office. I wouldn't mind just having that piece back. But for 250 I'll walk over to the window and use the darn key fob.
