Got the antenna mount on. The antenna is a Comet H-422 HF. The mount has a pivot at the bottom and the tube tilts down to put the mast/antenna up. The mast is 3 sections and the antenna goes up/ down in 5 min and all fits in the bed of the Jeep. This is for camping/ mountain top HF operation.

My, that's a big one. I have a similar fold over trailer hitch mast mount from a guy on Ebay. I use it a lot with surplus 5ft military mast sections. Its nice to be able to use large base station type antennas when camping.

Yes I will, making all the cords and cables I need the operate on field day. I have a Yaesu MP 1000 that has a defective A/C power supply so only works on 12V so it is going mobile. I was testing the antenna last night, it works good on 40 meters. Works better on 20 meters. Tonight I am going to test the radio in the bed of the Jeep to make sure it all works.

My only comment I have is not a positive one. Raising the feedpoint of a vertical that far above a ground plane introduces massive losses and although the tuner will probably achieve a good match, the efficiency of this antenna system will be very poor. You want the antenna feed point, or the output of the auto tuner as close to a large hunk of metal as you can get. Sticking it up in the air or on a trailer hitch, etc, is to be avoided.
