Ghost controls gate opener

Has anyone here been able to program a Ghost gate controller using the overhead controls on the JT? I haven't tried yet. Don't even knowcif it's possible.

I was able to program a button on mine to open the gate into my brother's neighborhood. The controller they gave him looks like a garage remote. It's an older system, he's lived there about fifteen years.

Ghost control systems said it should work if I follow the instructions for Homelink on my Jeep. I will try again in the morning. I was using the instructions for a Ghost controls remote. I was able to program additional remotes just not the JT.

Good morning, and yes, I just programmed my ghost controls gate last week. I found the instructions on the ghost controls site more helpful than the instructions in my Jeep manual.

Well, it seems like the battery (solar panel) may be the problem. The gate opener did not function at all today. It was giving me a low battery alert tone that I could not hear from inside the vehicle. I have no idea if I was able to program the JT buttons yet.

Can you explain? Ghost in general or using the JT control button?

Ghost in general, it is not likely to work long enough to even use the remote, cheapest junk on the market.
