Like leg warmers of the 80'sTo keep the calipers warm?

But do they retain heat? WITHOUT SEEING them, that could be a concern. Maybe they don't but open wheels allow the caliper to cool and keep the fluid temp lower. They are decorative and suppose to reduce brake dust on the wheels...
I do not know, personally I just wash my truck often along with the wheels...as for caliper color, black or silver are just fine for me...But do they retain heat? WITHOUT SEEING them, that could be a concern. Maybe they don't but open wheels allow the caliper to cool and keep the fluid temp lower.
Ah, a race Jeep! Gotcha! It's to make it look like you have brembos. Throw on a "Type R" badge to complete the look.

Apparently a simple yes/no response was far beyond your intellectual level. If you did a little bit of research before you decided to make an ignorant comment "mall crawling semifinals" you'd notice that they are as everyone mentioned a nice upgrade over the traditional look. A simple red with black letters and/or vice versa was what I was looking for, never intended to bedazzle the damn thing.I've seen some pretty useless things in the automotive aftermarket, but "caliper covers" take the cake. Sounds like something you would need to get into the mall crawling semifinals.
To make it look sort of like the scarbird or wilwood calipers we put on classics to upgrade from drums? A pic would be cool.
