Afternoon All,
Just wondering if anyone knows of any companies who have made Caliper covers yet for our Gladiators. I checked MGP and they only have for the JL. With that being said, would Caliper covers for the 19 JL fit the JT?

I don't suppose these newer calipers as used on Jeep can be powder coated? That's what I've done with brake parts in the past........
I assume when people mention covers it's to hide the calipers and add some bling.

They are decorative and suppose to reduce brake dust on the wheels...

I've seen some pretty useless things in the automotive aftermarket, but "caliper covers" take the cake. Sounds like something you would need to get into the mall crawling semifinals.

But do they retain heat? WITHOUT SEEING them, that could be a concern. Maybe they don't but open wheels allow the caliper to cool and keep the fluid temp lower.

I do not know, personally I just wash my truck often along with the wheels...as for caliper color, black or silver are just fine for me...

They are a cheap way to add some bling. Have them on my wife’s Explorer and people comment on them all the time. I would be interested in a set once I upgrade my wheels. I would tend to believe a set for a JL would fit. They are made from lightweight aluminum so I can’t see how they would retain heat that much!

It's to make it look like you have brembos. Throw on a "Type R" badge to complete the look.
Ah, a race Jeep! Gotcha! :like:

Apparently a simple yes/no response was far beyond your intellectual level. If you did a little bit of research before you decided to make an ignorant comment "mall crawling semifinals" you'd notice that they are as everyone mentioned a nice upgrade over the traditional look. A simple red with black letters and/or vice versa was what I was looking for, never intended to bedazzle the damn thing.

To make it look sort of like the scarbird or wilwood calipers we put on classics to upgrade from drums? A pic would be cool.
